Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Incorrect. Only five things stand in the way of immortality, and soon those barriers will fall.

No- far more than that.
Everything which kills people now.
Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

We could control the enviroment or at least the climate by putting gravitational machines in the moon.

Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_life This page has tons of link to help with this.

Also I think Techno-organic(both micro/nano and macro), mechanical, digital and synthetic life are possible to varying degrees of efficiency.
I am dyslexic, please ignore the typo's!

Digiforms (sounds like something out of a bad Anime, btw...), well, since they lack a structure in a conventional sense and their interaction with the real world is limited, I wouldn't strictly regard them as life, but rather simulations of life. Is a simulation of a cup of water a real cup of water? No.

Depending on how good they are made, if they are able to learn, discern, or even give their own opinion, etc., they could be regarded as non-physical intelligence. Non-physical life.

Can you prove that?

Can you prove that a picture of me flying a spaceship over the Empire State Building is fake?

"If you can't prove it isn't a simulation, it's not a simulation, even if it is a simulation" is probably the most inane concept I've ever heard. Utter nonsense. If it's not real, it's not real!

Intelligence maybe, but not life, as they lack a physical structure.

No. The Moon has relatively little to do with the climate, actually...

Of course you can't eliminate all causes of death, but you can eliminate a good deal of them, if you have varying degrees of medical ability.
A hard mathematical figure provides a sort of enlightenment to one's understanding of an idea that is never matched by mere guesswork.

That right there is the most incorrect statement I have ever read. Luna controls the tides and helps some animals navigate. Luna is also responsible for many important things.

I don't think a digiform would be considered life, nor would a sentient computer with a lovely machine body, these would just be considered digiforms and AI, though some would refer to them as living things the majority of people would probably restrict the term to organics stemming directly from the original tree of life. Organics stringing from a second tree, created in a lab or factory, would probably be referred to as "artificials" even if they are identical to the naturals.

And the crap that the Japanese are making are not cyborgs, they are androids.
Oh Fine.

Oh hi you! Why don't you go check out the finery that is SGP??

Everything which kills people now.
Immortality =/= Invulnerability
We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar.

"The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming
