Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

However in Terra Ornithischia non-avian therapods are all dead!!! Well however it still took a lot of divergence to replace therapods with ornithischians.

Sabre toothed tyrannosaurids are not cliche, for now. As awesome as they are, people surprisingly haven't ripped off that aspect of spec yet.

But I have to agree with all of you, cliches are not too bad, and especially some are inevitable especially in future evolution. Future terror birds will always be around with dolphin-like marine birds (but pelagic oceanic predators derived from softshell turtles and giant basilosaurine sea snakes are so awesome).

Have something to add to the list:
Sabre-toothed lynx
Mammoth-like boars
Terrestrial crocodiles
Erect legged monitor lizards
Bats replacing birds
Flying squamates
Aquatic monitor lizards evolved into neo-mosasaurs
Badgers and Raccoons evolved into neo-bears.

Yeah, but as Canis said, THOSE THINGS are so likely that its hard to avoid them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do art sometimes.

"if you want green eat a salad"

Projects:
Amammalia: A strange place where mammals didn't make it and the land is, once again, dominated by archosaurs.

Oceanus: An endless sea dotted with islands, reefs, and black holes. Literally endless, literal black holes.

In fact a planet called Earth is the prime suspect in being the orniginator of cliches.

Dinosaurs eat man, woman inherits the Earth.

Flying squamates are quite likely. That's why I've got them in one scenario of TFOK.

And small cats evolving into big predators are also very likely, especially with big cats go extinct.

Aquatic monitor lizards evolved into neo-mosasaurs

Terrestrial crocodiles
Never saw a project with monitor lizards as neo-mosasaurs apart from your Terra Ornithischia, but that´s a cool idea.

If you add that to the list I´ll add "Flightless Azhdarchids" ;)

And I agree on the terrestrial crocodiles, but if you have things like Rauisuchians and Notosuchians and Pristichampsines how can you withstand? (I know they´re not actual crocodiles)
