| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Registration is free and instantaneous. Join our community today! |

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

Oh, but the London Natural History Museum is fantastic! It has realistic dinosaur anamotronics, pickled fish, a statue of Darwin, and stuffed animals all over the place (including a mountain goat with presumably its last expression of shock at being shot still preserved on its face). Monkey skeletons swimg through the human evolution section, whilst a sleeping psitticosaurus lies curled not too far way from the life-size T-Rex robot. It is the best Natural History Museum I've ever been to, and I've been to Oxford's Natural History Museum, which provides some surprisingly stiff competition, in my opinion. |

Still doesn't beat the Evolution Factory. The Galapagos are one of two place where the modern evolution was formed. The other is Indonesia. |

You mean the theory? That's all very well and good, but I don't think either of those places have gift shops which sell adorable pterosaur-chick cuddly toys. |

It is, in my opinion, the greatest museum of natural history in the world. But then, I haven't been to the one in New York, so I can't really compare. |

I've been to the London Natural History Museum, sure its great. But.Its.So.Fucking.Crowded. I had to wait in line to look at the Mammoth. However, i prefer the crowded museum to montana or a creationist museum. Perhaps we should hold it in New York? |

Nah we just have to go at the right time... pretty much go do all the other exhibits then go to the dinosaur halls last. Go round the bugs, fish and other halls first |
