| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! No, either the Chinese or Koreans brought gunpowder and canons to Japan first. It's hard to tell, though it was probably the Chinese. |

I like the Japanese... I would have guessed the Chinese, given the extensive contact between the two peoples. |

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

Do you mean the Mongols? That's not true, while the ancestors of the Japanese might have live in or passed through Mongolia, they were not Mongols. |

The Mongols are different, hence certain different features. Like eye shape. |

I don't have anything against Japanese people, it's just that I don't like the country (naturally, as I'm a Korean) The Chinese brought guns to Japan, Korea didn't even have guns when Japan first attacked us (before the colonization) |

It's pretty bad. Koreans don't like Japanese and considering all the things Japan did to us during the colonization and considering how Japan still messes with us it's understandable, I think, but still I have to admit Koreans do have a bad habit of hating over long periods (North Korea, for example). But Germany still repented more than the Japanese. Japan still messes with us and China when they get a chance. Edited by Cephylus, Dec 4 2010, 10:47 AM.

But passing through Mongolia doesn't. (Lamna's point.) |

I don't care. MGS taught me that the Japanese and Inuit are descended from Mongolians. |
