| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! We do have Rockall, and have fought for it in the past. It really stands as a testament to the power of our country that we have ROCKALL |

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

Rockall is very important, it extends our claim to the sea. Do you want dirty foreigners stealing our fish? And there and plenty of uninhabited islands in the United Kingdom, both in Britain and the overseas territories. A lot of Scottish islands were depopulated after crofters were forced out to make room for sheep, and then the Laird left. |

What? How can you live in the UK and not know you guys have uninhabited islands? I live in America and even I know there are plenty in the Orkneys. After all, that is where Victor Frankenstein made the Creation's wife. |

We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar. "The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming Tree That Owns Itself

Really? We had to read a Frankenstein script in English over and over, but I don't remember that. Could have sworn he did it at home or in the Arctic. And this is a map of the United Kingdom's Exclusive Economic Zone Spoiler: click to toggle

Well, I 'spose it's like how people in Africa aren't always in awe of the native wildlife over there, like we are - we find other places much more interesting than where we actually live ourselves. |

And how i find Yorkshire more interesting than where i live. What? yes. Ol' Victor made a female Monster then ripped it up on some Scottish island, but i thought there were other people there too. Oh, and the Uk's a big and varied place! |

There were fishermen out in the seas around the island, but I'm pretty sure the island itself was uninhabited. |

Watching History International I found another funny fact: the Luger, the quintessential handgun of the Nazis, was in fact invented by an American. |

That book was terrible, in every sense of the word. What kind of savage executes a retard "for their own good?" |
