Yet another COM from yellowdrakex. This one is fairly straight forward, make a parasite or pest; something that annoys other organisms (not necessarily animals) by living inside their bodies or habitat (things like fleas on a dog, or roaches in a human house). I'm leaving it pretty open, it can be future evo, alternative evo, xenobiology, whatever you want. So long as it's an organism and it's annoying. |

Well seeing as the parasite/pest is the entry and not the relationship between the them and the host, it makes sense that you would be able to use a premade as a host. | ||

hypocritical. sorry, I just hate it when native english speakers make inflective errors outside the bounds of whatever unique grammar their local dialect may have developed. I however usually don't mention this and try to catch people out, because nobody cares on the internet. |

I think I have a problem in which I can't tell if people are serious or not, on or off the internet. But yeah, I didn't see annyoying until you mentioned it, and seeing as this thing has a spellchecker that immediately underlines it in red, i too am starting to suspect it to be a simple little joke. | ||

Ok, I've got mine. A plant which is an obligate stem parasite to one plant, a parasitoid to another plant, and an annoyance to a wasp. Yay parasitoid! Should have it finished in a day or two. Edited by MitchBeard, Dec 4 2010, 07:15 AM.

Purple Thing On the planet of Venus II, it rains death. Over the continent of vleegor, the desert strip, it rarely rains. When it does, however.The airial eggs of the puple thing hatch. The Young are incredibly small and light, but when hit by raindrops, they fall. When in a body of water, they begin to mature. When ingested by an organism, the trANLUCENT PERPLE SLIMES HOOK on to the intestinal wall, where they process bits of parially digested food freom the host. the energy goes into what, millions of years ago, was a digestive system. The cavity is now a bacterial garden. The bacteria inside synthesise the food, producing nutrients and methane gas. The Things live on the nutrients, forming lightweight egg or sperm cells. These cells, along with the methane, are contained in a sac that inflates as more methane and egg cells are produced. When this happens, it irritates the inside of the host intestine, causine pains. As soon as the sac is full, the Purple Things wait. When the host experiences flatulence, the sacs burst, increasing the power and rockets the gametes out. When a male and a female gamete mix, they form a lifghtwelight egg held aloft by the methane produced by the bacteria which hitched a ride during expulsion. As soon as this happens, the parent dies, unhooks, and come out with the excrement.
