| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Registration is free and instantaneous. Join our community today! |

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

I might check it out. But between my girlfriend, Half Life and CSI I don't think I'll have to pick tonight. |

Yeah see i prefer to have lil flings to girlfriends. The effort in keeping a girlfriend is just too much, your normally better off seeing someone without serious strings its much more fun and you don't constantly have to be there... |

To all their own. Personally I feel that if the chick doesn't back off when you ask her to then she isn't worth it. |

Yeah i appreciate the fact that some guys like the fact that they are with somebody who loves them and cares for them alot. I find that very freaky especially at my age i just prefer to be free. This is why im probably gunna end up like one of those blokes who has a new girlfriend every month and never gets married. |

I've been married to my wife for 25 years. We are strong together. Each of us are strong where the other is weak. Like picking out curtains. I can be happy with black paint on the windows - But The wife...Now there is an art form!

Oh, i'd love a fully black room with blue curtains, and midnight blue embellishment. Double bed at the side, desk by the window, and loads of electric plugs everywhere. Surround sound and in-wall cinema system. Though that digital wallpaper sounds cool. |

Perhaps he's colourblind and their visitors are usually full-colour-visioned, or she is more able to see which curtains get praised. |

Or he tends to be content with whatever that works while she views it as an art form to get everything to match so it all looks beautiful, and he appreciates that. |

Not to some people. I personally think a sink is a sink, but then I go over to my Aunt's place and in her toiletry the sink is a piece of art and the entire little room was just so damn pretty. Only thing wrong was that the spout was a little low. |
