| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! It looks like a bipedal naked mole rat to me, but I wouldn't call it creepy. |

What would we judge it on? Horrific as in "disgusting" or horrific as in "implausible"? |

Haha I was thinking frightening, scary and horrific like the xenomorph from the alien movies, but implausible could work as well . Well, should we do it?

I personally think focusing on horrific creatures would be a friendlier activity than picking out the So Badly Thought Up It's Creepy Awards. |

We should also make a rule that NOTHING FROM SNAIAD IS ALLOWED! Oherwise the whole list would be filled with it. |

You're right. Though, again, they probably could have filled the whole list just with creatures by Nemo Ramjet. |

My Bone virus would out take all of them! It brings back the frakken dead! And not just your avarge 'must eat flesh' zombies, but thinking, 'living' zombies! TAKE THAR RESIDENT EVIL AND DAWN OF THE DEAD!!! x3 Thay needed those freaky vines from The Ruins...if they even TOUCHED you you would die. I guess they release tiny seeds into you on touch and then proceeded to 'eat' you alive.

don't Blink. Blink and you're Dead. Don't turn your Back. don't Look Away, and Don't blink. Good luck He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing - the fury of a Time Lord - and then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with Gods and Demons, why he had run away from us and hidden. He was being kind. ![]() | |
