First history; in near future to present day man mark his presence on most of rocky places in our solar system. The big colony will be on Venus but among others things an Organization have space station on orbit of Mercury (to secret scientific research) and mines there. Forget about closed circuit or someything ecological like that, except for emergency systems if we have a lot of energy from star and a lot of resources from planet it's not very big problem, don't be childish.  Station make a lot of rubbish (radioactive too) and left it on planet, in tunnels to decay itself (tunnels of mine have hermetic lock and created there rare atmosphere). Now you just imagine that station was lost in war or hyperactivity of sun or someone made very bad mistake... and people lost interest in Mercury for more than thousand years. Nevermind, people meet something terrible on end this story, now let's focus on something what was transported there in rubbish. Something that will take all they can and solve all problem on their way, very fast. Title say a lot about "it" but if you have some ideas write pm to me. |
