| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! If the dinosaurs did somehow survive and we became what we are to day. Is it most likely that we would build barriers and wall s to keep the dinosaurs away or some how tame them as we did with horses and dogs? If so that would mean no cars most likely less food and meat and less space so would that mean that it might of been better if the dinosaurs stayed or is how it is now good. But then again if we had dinosaurs we wouldn't pollute as much and the dung could b used as fertilizer. But the herbivores would eat all the plants that give us oxygen. So I don't know what would of been better but please tell what you think. |

Actually it is impossible for herbivores to eat all of the plant matter in one area. |

I wonder if you could train a dromaeosaur in a similar manner to dog training and falconry? |

Sorry Link, I don't give credit. Come back when you're a little...MMMMMM...Richer. Bread is an animal and humans are %90 aluminum. | |

It'd claw many a belly. I wouldn't try it. Besides, we already have trained dromaeosaurs. Falcons. |

Ankylosaurs could be like mules to pull things and plow through brush. |

I'm sure if you domesticated them it could work. They would make pretty good work animals. Ankylosaurid's low squat bodies would make them ideal for pulling things. You could have them pull a plow in a field, or pulling a cart full of farm stuff.
