| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! It might be difficult though. Humans have become pretty reliant on tool using. Without tools, humans are pretty fragile animals. With no ways to build shelter or tools, humans are pretty limited on where they can live successfully.

Sorry Link, I don't give credit. Come back when you're a little...MMMMMM...Richer. Bread is an animal and humans are %90 aluminum. | |

I'm pretty sure a mineral like a person is able to make a transition back into a creature. But no really, I doubt that humans would revert back to using purely what their bodies provide them to get food stuffs, even if we reverted back to the level of intelligence of an ape we'd still be using tools... We are creatures. We are animals. We are organisms. So we can't "revert" back. As Toad of Spades said, we are fragile and can't. Tools are our only defense. |

Even three year olds can use tools. As long as our races lives, we will use tools. Even if we are reduced to a bunch of babbling idiots. |

If we still use tools, we'll still be human. What you're suggesting is what if humanity reverted to an animal-like intelligence, which will definitely not happen anytime soon. |

Most animals don't rely on reason and abstractions as much as we do. |

*picks nose* What do *belch* you mean classy? *farts* And PR, we evolved to rely on those things because other animals weren't taking that spot. The only animals that come close are birds of prey, sharks, whales, octopi, and corvids. |
