Create plausible organisms that spend their entire adult life in the air (or entire life, if you so desire).

  • Must include a description (illustration preferred but not required)
  • Entries to be submitted within this topic
  • Entries due by 3 September (since I started it 2 days late)


The entries for this COM must be organisms that spend their entire life in any gas giant.

You've got to include the size of the organisms, any mechanism it has to avoid being killed by deadly storms, and what they eat.

I'm doing this COM because Parasky apparently forgot about it and now it's August 3rd.

Can I do flora or is it just fauna? I know you said "organisms" but I'm not sure if flora would have an evolved response to deadly storms, and they wouldn't eat anything.

But most of those entries were on terrestrial planets. Also, on gas giants you have to deal with it being a gas giant. And I had no other ideas besides aquatic primates.
