| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. Future potential sapients- Lots of primates have the capability, corvids, maybe cetaceans (but unlikely), beavers, etc. How far are you thinking into the future? Antelope will survive but change to become probably faster, smaller and have more extravagant horns. And cyfarchion.

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

I figure that deer will definitely thrive in the future, especially once it starts getting warmer and more forests start to spring up. |

Yah.....I can imagine animals like horses and stuff getting outcompeted by deer and forest dwelling antelope... There would likely be tons of muntjac sized deer around... |

And that Grazing Antelopes will likely enilate them in a few million years. Odd Toed Ungulates will be reduced to nothing... Horses had their time as top herbivore...and they started getting outcompeted by bovids when bovids first appeared... What do you think will happen to pronghorn... The pronghorn might be replaced by some of its forest cousins, or it might thrive and diversify. |

In my project, The Future is Barbaric, despite Human Annihalation of eachother and overhunting of animals, deers survived quite nicely in nsome areas. The Proghorn itself has taken an Antelope like niche in the American Savanahs. |

most likely they will be replaced with their more common relatives..i could see if proghorn survive, smaller and later bigger diversification of proghorns, some will became antelope like, some maybe giraffe or okapi like..

Yah as long as the antelope that were intorduced into Texas dont go up North....Pronghorns would likely be gone from their southern range from things such as Blackbuck antelope.... |
