Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

Well, it would be hard to find someone like that. Someone who's very active, violent and guards their food testily isn't your average guy.

Their description written by the person. Since in reality foxes are baby murderers, owls puke a lot, eat mice, and some scream like girls, and Hawks have good vision, something I lack completely.
So... yeah, I don't think I'm any of those. Well, okay, I occasionally scream like a girl when certain bugs are involved, but beyond that.
Foxes have murdered one baby recently. Compared to dogs, they're angels. Even given their comparative scarcity.
Owl-lovers pretend they're just getting rid of tough bits in their food. No, they're puking.
Hawks have good vision some ways, and worse in others.

I think you can be excused for doing that. And what is so scary?
Foxes: I was referring to the fact that some species have a tendency to go after the young of other species more often then most seem too (or at least seen while doing it, I doubt any animal would pass up an easy meal).
As for Hawks, I'm nearsighted to the point of being inable to read a clock in any room of my house, so I need a watch. I also have color-disorrientation disorder, a form of color-blindness. So, Hawks have me beat, they can at least see far off.
I have issues with being stung. When I was little I was stuck in my house for a good week do to being stung around ten times all in the same place. Ironically, the insect that actually did sting me doesn't scare me anymore, but every other animal that can sting does.

How can a animal be a murderer? Apart from Chimps and maybe Dolphins. I dunno if they premeditate or just kill for shit and giggles. It's just predation, and I doubt any carnivore would turn down a young animal that was easy to catch.
I got a Crow, which is nice. I like corvids. Also I have the power of resurrection. Given my name means "Christ like" it's not surprising.
Second I got an Anti-communist resistance movement.

I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.
Satoru Iwata - Heart of a Gamer
Even if we come from different sides of the world, speak different languages, even if we eat too many chips or rice balls, even if we wave different tastes in games, every one of us here today is identical in the most important way: each one of us was the heart of a gamer.

You should not have come here. This is not a place of honor. No great deed is commemorated here. Nothing of value is here. What is here is dangerous and repulsive.

See, what I like to do now as an adult is take all that anger and frustration and push it down deep inside of me, until it becomes a seething white core of pure hate.

1. The murder thing was a joke. Geesh, I should have just said I don't like eggs.
2. You have never had a cat, have you?

You're a Crow. "Powers: foreseeing death, communicating with the dead, resurrection
As a Crow, you are analytical, adaptable, and exceedingly clever. You like solving problems, sharing a hearty laugh with friends, and most of all, enjoying a good meal. Blame is the playing of children and is given to many like a gift that cannot be returned. Acceptance is the tool of the mature that is rarely loaned out.

I'm a spider!
We all know you truly have the noble heart of a wolf.
But really, they also offered me the possibilities of cougar and crow/raven. Guess which animal I think represents me best
Characters: Tereus, Kalia in the Aspect of Crow trilogy
Powers: Foretelling future through dreams, dream-walking
Swans are idealistic, open-minded, and passionate. Your good nature often leads people to think they can take advantage of you, but they should be careful—beneath that serenity lies a fighting spirit. Your love is fierce and unconditional, fueled by the certainty that it should last forever.
Best matches: Wolves, Horses, Otters
Watch out for: Cougars, Foxes, Hawks
Here are your scores for the other animal spirits:

Crow (your score: 19) Crow
Characters: Rhia, Coranna, Damen in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; John in "The Wild's Call"
Powers: foreseeing death, communicating with the dead, resurrection
As a Crow, you are analytical, adaptable, and exceedingly clever. You like solving problems, sharing a hearty laugh with friends, and most of all, enjoying a good meal. Your inquisitive, philosophical nature leads you to constantly question authority and the status quo, sometimes just for the sake of asking, "Why?"
Best matches: Foxes, Wolves, Swans
Watch out for: Wolverines, Bears, Hawks

Bear (your score: 19) Bear
Characters: Arcas, Skaris, Torin, Eneas, and Ladek in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; Darien in "The Wild's Call"
Powers: Fighting ability—strength and speed—along with powers of strategic thinking
You're #1! At least, you're happiest when in charge. You lead with courage, integrity, and compassion. People gravitate to your confidence and charisma, and they feel safe in your care. But be careful not to believe your own hype—stubborn pride is every Bear's downfall.
Best matches: Wolverines, Horses, Wolves

Characters: Marek, Alanka, Kerza, and Kara in the Aspect of Crow trilogy and "Storm Reaper"; Lance in "The Wild's Call"
Powers: Stealth, hunting ability, enhanced senses of smell and hearing, as well as strength and stamina
"Family comes first" could be a Wolf's motto. You form deep connections with close friends and family members, and they know you'd do anything to protect them. You're loyal, devoted, and passionate. Your worst fear is being alone, but be careful not to drown your loved ones in too much emotion.

Quote:
Hawk (your score: 17) Hawk
Characters: Galen, Thera, Zilus in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; Maxine in "The Wild's Call"
Powers: Communicate with the divine, discern powers in others, photographic memory
Hawks are the messengers of the Spirits. Adept with language, you might be a writer or a teacher. A brilliant visionary, you sometimes forget the mundane details of life like eating, sleeping, or paying bills.
Best matches: Owls, Foxes, Spiders
Watch out for: Otters, Bears, Horses
Quote:
Otter (your score: 16) Otter
Characters: Mayra, Elora, Pirrik, and Zelia in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; Gina in "The Wild's Call"; Erik in "Storm Reaper"

Otters are nurturing, playful, and easygoing. You often put others' needs before your own, offering what seems to be a bottomless well of compassion and care. Though your decisions are guided by your feelings, at heart you're pragmatic and self-possessed, making you the ideal head of a family or small business.

Best matches: Crows, Owls, Cougars
Watch out for: Bears, Swans, Horses
Quote:
Horse (your score: 13) Horse
Characters: Filip and Bolan in the Aspect of Crow trilogy and "Storm Reaper"
Powers: Communicate telepathically with animals
As a Horse, you're sensitive, peaceful, and social. You easily make friends with members of all species, but you hold a special place in your heart for those who respect your intelligence. Sometimes your empathy can leave you vulnerable to others' moods or manipulations. Don't let one grumpy person ruin your whole day.
Best matches: Wolves, Otters, Swans
Watch out for: Foxes, Spiders, Owls
Quote:
Spider (your score: 12) Spider
Characters: Arcas and Nelma in the Aspect of Crow trilogy
Powers: Artistic genius, ability to see patterns and sense trouble from a distance
As a Spider, you're artistic, intuitive, and independent—maybe even a little eccentric. You can become so absorbed in your endeavors that you lose track of the outside world and the people in it. But what you give in return is magic, pure and simple.
Best matches: Cougars, Hawks, Owls
Watch out for: Wolves, Otters, Bears
Quote:
Wolverine (your score: 12) Wolverine

Best matches: Bears, Cougars, Wolves
Watch out for: Crows, Owls, Swans
Quote:
Cougar (your score: 11) Cougar
Characters: Adrek, Endrus, and Daria in the Aspect of Crow trilogy
Powers: Stealth, strength, phenomenal jumping ability, as well as enhanced sight and hearing
Grrr, baby—you're the personification of animal magnetism. Your confidence, beauty, and athleticism make you the target of many romantically inclined individuals. Too bad for them—you don't stick around long enough to make breakfast, much less a lifetime commitment. Hello Kitty, Goodbye Heart.
Best matches: Spiders, Wolverines, Hawks
Watch out for: Swans, Horses, Otters
Quote:
Owl (your score: 10) Owl
Characters: Etar and Nathas in the Aspect of Crow trilogy
Powers: Human lie-detectors
Owls are keen, perceptive and skeptical. You're adept at getting to the truth, making you an ideal investigator or attorney. Your insights into the less honorable side of human nature can make you a bit cynical, but your numerous friends appreciate the dark sense of humor it brings.
