| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! I absolutely hate it. Nothing is backwards compatible with it, so all my add-ons, my theme, my plugins; all no longer work. Everything looks different, it's ridiculous. And Firefox 2 is no longer available for download, so I have to wait until all my add-ons are made for FF3, if ever. I am greatly disappointed in Mozilla, pulling a Vista was the worst thing they could have ever done. Sure, everyone has FF3 now, but I'm not using it. I'd rather use internet explorer than FF3, which I am. Hell, I'd rather use OPERA than FF3. In fact, even Netscape would be better than FF3, IMO. |

We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar. "The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming Tree That Owns Itself

It's alright with me. I mean, I have to wait for the add-ons to all update themselves to be useable. (But nothing was backwards compatible with Firefox 2 either to my knowledge.) I have some though that work for Firefox 3. (Including my Weather Forecast add-on )I like the ability to pause downloads and then resume them later even after turning off the computer. (I'm trying to download the creature creator) |

Yeah, when I updated, for some reason it reverted by favorites so I had to go back and re-find them. But so far I enjoy it. Its pretty fast and there is much less toolbar space to block the view of websites. Its kind of what happens when new software comes out and there are compatibility issues. I mean, everyone was complaining about Vista (especially the Mac people), but it is actually really amazing and much better than what people say. |

Well considering I actually have a good computer, Vista runs wonderfully on it. The newer software just requires higher requirements than XP. Back to FF3 now. |

That's weird! In my Firefox update my favourites were fine. Must be because of different reactions from different OS's. |

Well other than myself, noone here had troubles. Probably because I still had the original beta still downloaded on my computer.
