Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Registration is free and instantaneous.

That's a matter of opinion. Our weapons would just bounce of their force fields, but in a proper fight we'd overhwelm them. They have spaceships, so they could dominate the skies, but we have... etc etc.
Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

Since there has been absolutely NO speculative evolution in this, it is being moved to General Discussion, until/if Daleklord can give a reason to move it back.

starting with Wales??? of all the places

What's wrong with Wales? It's a lovely place to start a civilisation/ takeover.
It's beautiful, yes, but I wouldn't want to start would take over in Europe of all places. They've pretty much shown they can handle any sort of crap a massive military can give them, look at both World Wars.

Start in Africa, not much resistance, easy to build up inertia, and let's face facts, for some of the countries it could be an improvement.
well the show is made there.

Build your sets close to home, that's their idea.

I'm going back to basics.

Any objections to merging this with the other Dr.Who thread?
