Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Registration is free and instantaneous.

So it appears there is a tool that will automatically delete members with certain criteria. I believe that I will use it to delete members who have not visited (not posted) for 30 days and have less than five posts. Does that seem fair enough? I'm glad I don't have to do this by hand, and I think that gets rid of all the unused accounts without deleting anybody important on hiatus.
We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar.

"The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming

There is an autotool for it? Cause I didn't see any delete member option.

Holy crap, thankfully I checked my e-mail today! I've been busy but I would have been really upset if my work on this site disappeared. Good thing I caught this before going to work this morning!

Hey!

And i hope this gets our stats sorted out...
Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

Now there's 202 members. What was the maximum post count of the members?

Can you please tell me where it is to auto-delete members? Because I found it when playing with the Admin CP of my test board, but now I can't find it at all (on both ACP's) and couldn't for at least 2 weeks.

78? Not bad.

Keep it up. Inactives look awful if you're looking at the site for the first time.
The Dreaded AOL Dial-Up has left me afraid to spend more than 5 minutes posting at risk of losing it all. Arghhh.

There was a way to auto-delete accounts, but only members in the admin built-in group can. Where is that?

ALthough 78 is good, i'm sure we have more low-post non-actives than that.

Can I delete people with 10 or less post Parasky? To make it seem even more active.

Does anyone know of a topic where someone who was deleted posted in? Cause I want to see what it looks like.

Go right ahead, just make sure that you put the settings at 30 days since last visit, not post.

Still good, but how about a threshold increase, to about 20 posts?
