Hey, everyone. I've decided to take advantage of my dubious new admin access to put together a subforum for Nereus, due to popular demand. I'm still working out a lot of the kinks, but here it is! |

Not a clue. I PMed Parasky about it, but have yet to get any reply from him. I don't expect my status as admin to last really, as I have the feeling it was just given to me so I could get this place set up. We'll see what happens. Edited by Empyreon, Mar 31 2010, 04:20 PM.

Well, I read from old threads that there used to be more administrators than Proletarian, but I'm not sure as I wasn't a member yet and only came for the future evolution projects. |

Yay! Finally, a subforum for Nereus, as it deserves! Perhaps it might be a good idea to create a list (with links to the main articles) of all the Neroid species so far. It'd save us having to search through the main topic whenever we wanted to look at one of them... |

I'm not sure, to be honest. I've been putting my website together as a primary means of presentation, so the subforum is really just here by popular demand. I can put up polls here, or more detailed and specialized discussions, or maybe some of you guys will have better ideas for what can show up here. |

Okay, I know I promised to get working on wrapping up the pelagic nereids, but real life has been getting in the way of the artwork. I've added another poll to keep things busy around here, and have some other things waiting in the wings if artwork gets further postponing. |

Good to see Nereus with a proper forum, as it deserves! Nice work, anyway. Along with the 'your favourites', perhaps we could speculate on alternate, continued, and general evolution for the planet? |

As far as alternate or future evolution goes, I'm holding off on even thinking of those in any depth until after I've put together the project as a whole. If others wish to get a head start on that, however, be my guest. One thing I plan to explore at some future date is the debate over which species will likely rise to sapience.

yeah, first put the 50 more species in somewhere organized, then we can start with 25 million years into the future? That seems like a good time. Nereus is just amazing, 40 pages before it got its own forum. |
