Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

EDIT:i find older picture that i draw...could it be this (with slighly changes) main ungulate in eurasia steppes?

But the Mediterranean will be a dry dry desert, only chance they have to cross is when the Mediterranean is when it is a swamp, or millions of years later when the Red Sea re-opens by the splitting of Arabia, but soon that'll close too, allowing animals to cross the neo-swamp again. But they can't cross that dry desert.

I said the animals that cross the Mediterranean. And a survivor list isn't that hard, just browse through all the pages of Wikipedia on tetrapods, choose your extinction level, then what will survive it (I did that).

What about muntjac from England? In 2004 they were found to be the 2nd most populous deer in England, and expected them to be the most populous very soon. So what about Muntjac?

We've also got Pere David's deer, roe, red, fallow, chinese water, and another one if you want them.
Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

i think that is stupid to create exotic species like muntjacs and wallabies as dominant fauna.First ice age wiped them from europe. They are still here only thanks to humans

i draw some concepts,so next week can be here 6 animals from middle european temperate/boreal forest or from steppes

Do we not have plains and more arid regions in greece and the mediterranean?

finally,i find the best ungulate, who fill niche of deers at eurasia and propably create some antelope like forms-musk deers. They dont have got antlers, but babirusa like tusks.Small gazzele niche will be taken by descendants of maras(evolve in south america and they go trought north america to old world.( i dont like rabbuck and harelopes,so i take mara)---------------> or that gazzele niche can be filled by hyraxs(in old world)(i have got name for them-damalopes)

there are also some species of true deers.Bovids are extinct and they are replaced by muntjacs and goats
