Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

This is a topic on all the worlds of Nintendo, Konami, and Sega. We will look at the biology, evolutionary history, and then post drawings of possible real-life versions of these characters. This is in the Habitable Zone, because alot of these characters are aliens.

Frogs blink to swallow, while chameleons can swallow without doing anything special.

He can glide?

At this rate we might have to make multiple groups of Yoshi there are just to many traits for one creature to have in my opinion.

Since fire is ou tof the question I think this Yoshi has a Bombadier Beetle organ.

Other than that it is a true Carnivore that specialises in shelled prey.

I was my understanding that all the yoshi's were the same, but were just different colors...Ah well. Any fire breathing abilities can be easily explained, really. However, if we disregard the fire powers and consider all the different colors (Blue, yellow, orange, etc.), then I might suspect that Yoshi's were poisonus.

I love New York. You can pop out of the Underworld in Central Park, hail a taxi, head down Fifth Avenue with a giant hellhound loping along behind you, and nobody even looks at you funny.
