Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

7 days before christmas, or Saturnalia.

EDIT:

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

Don't worry the much cooler Space Battleship Yamato will be coming out before that.

And, Olá. Second Portuguese person on the site.

I'm changing the title so it's not all in caps.

Realy?? Is rare to be 2 portugueses on a international forum! I think that I didn't post nothing on the other foruns =P that's way lamna didn't saw me.. I'm with the aliens hehe

Where is the other?

Came on lamna, Yamato is better than Avatar?? Where are the creatures?? (and the quality of the models hihihi)

Everyone noticed that the Na'vis are the only creature with a pair of arms?? All the other have 2 pairs of arms and 1 pair of legs.. even the Banshee (flying ones) and the Leonopteryx (Large and colored flier (my favourite)) have 4 wings and 2 legs

Well perhaps not for a large forum, but I do not visit those.

It does not need creatures it has the Japanese WW2 battleship Yamato turned into a space ship.

Well I noticed some of the other animals are multilimbed.

I already made a topic, so maybe we can somehow fuse the topics ^_^ But yes the animals on Pandora are hexapods, though I wonder why the Na'vi aren't, unless, their limbs somehow fused ?!

Are you plausible?

So is there a place that's already talking about Avatar and its fauna, or is all this just what you've gleaned from the trailers?
