| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! It was nice when we left it for you, and fine when we got it from the Dutch and Swedes. So does this spider eat the protein packets the tree makes for ants? |

Some supermarkets say "baskets only" and you can fill that up however much you want. |

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea. "It is the old wound my king. It has never healed." | |

The scorpions back then grew to 60cm long, and that's cool. Imagine having one of those in your shoe. |

Evil spiders only in Stephen King's It. My Carboniferous variety arachnids are herbivores, which is good cos amphibians need to eat meat |

Good old Stephen king. Soon he will have a new book coming out about a scary dome. That's not a joke. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under_the_Dome Frankly Under the Iron Sky sounds better. And why does it matter what the arachnids eat? The amphibians can still eat the arachnids. |

it matters because it can, the New Jersey population is three fourths underwater at any given time, and i always knew there had to be a spider who ate plants but i didn't expect it to be along side one of my favourite symbiotic relationships... also, who woulda thought jumping spiders eh?

Can we please talk more about the topic and not New Jersey ect. I want to know what you all will do with this information. I might start thinking about Nectivore Spiders that pollinate flowers and feed on the Vertebrate Nectivores that use to hold that niche. Yes omnivorous Spiders I declare are awsome. |
