| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. I like how your archipelogo is a group of planets instead of a group of islands. What species live on your planet? |

It's a clever twist; going to land rather then the sea for a origin. |

sorry. There are 9 continents (I'll try to get a pic. of the continents and there names). and about the tides I will try to get a model of them but when you said COMPLICATED you were right!! 3 moons make extreme tides causing the waves to make lots of wind causing the weather to be EXTREME (at least I think that's how it goes). It gets Crazy when there's a triple lunar eclipse and the tides are really high on one side of the planet and very low on the other side. And although there is only 42% by water it is balanced out by the amount of rain. |
