| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Now I know it sounds ridiculous, but do you think an entire race of extraterrestrial robots is possible. Ranging from nanotechnology, to weapons development, and replicating the mass and appearance of other pieces of technology, I don't see why it'd be so radical to think a race of such "organisms" could exist. And could have humanity developed our complex ways due to their help. Yes again it may sound utterly idiotic, but I don't see why another alien race could have created such creatures, who eventually developed a culture and race themselves. And what if they are part of our history, we speak of gods from the heavens, who helped us develop technology ! |

REALLY !!! The film stated that they were created by the AllSpark, while the original mythology states they were created by Primus, while another incarnation states they were created by the alien race Quintessons. I never heard of them evolving ?! Sounds cool though. I even thought of a caste system for the race, later on they personalize themselves, with tribal engravings, new weapons and upgrades, even new pieces of armor to set them apart. It'd be rather interesting, their culture, social gatherings, how they understand things, mythos, science etc. .In my view leaders would each look different, although having similarities they are unique (like the films Primes, including the Fallen). .The aerial soldiers, also have different appearances, but rather uniform in appearance (bird-like legs, long arms etc). .The soldier class is very uniform, but each class of soldier appears different. Lithe thin soldiers, ape-like , large and bulky, and then a basal humanoid soldier. But each one does end up looking different, with unique systems upgrades, weapons, and armor, they are several differences that can be spotted (this would also go for medics, mechanics, and inventors) .Next would be a guard class. These resemble non-human animals (Scorponok, Ravage etc, even Pretenders) they are increadibly strong, and rather intelligent, but lack sophisticated vocal processors (can't speak very well). Some are more instinctual than others , but overall more intelligent than humans .Next is the worker class, who all look alike. Other than tribal engravings, slightly different tools, and armor. They all practically look like this ![]() Though some rebel and upgrade their own systems, adding weapons etc. .Bottom of the caste system are the Scouts. They are small robots who are primarily scouts and hackers (Frenzy, Wheelie etc). |
