Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

In spite of its promotion, this animal is, in fact, irrelevant:

On the brighter side, if it is in fact closely related to Deltadromeus, then it means that said african theropod might had been a huge herbivore and not a carnivore!

And yes, this is not the first case of a prehistoric animal that was over prommoted; think of Darwinus, the primate that was more likely to be more closely related to lemurs than to simians and yet that was prommoted as a missing link between prosimians and simians

Well it is a ceratosaur. Most were though to have been giant carnivores, while this is a small gracile herbivore, that has converged with many other dinosaurs, although totally unrelated ! *ZT2needsone!* :D

One thing I don't know is if the toothless ceratosaur discovered in 2007/8 is this one. If so, then they took too long to describe it!
