| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! http://www.examiner.com/x-2111-Tacoma-Dogs-Examiner~y2009m4d28-Weird-newsglowing-puppy-created In South Korea, scientists have created a genetically-modified dog that glows in the dark. This is truly neat. But this is a clone with genes added rather than fusing eggs and sperm first and then inserting the genes into the zygote cell. But other than that, this is still pretty neat! |

Not that I know of. This puppy is merely experimental at the moment. But it would be cool to have a glowing dog as a pet. |

I don't think it actually glows. Isn't it one that only does that under UV light? |

But making glowing animals is useful. Never again will we have to get up to turn on the lamp when we want to read! |
