| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. Have you seen the design for the Fallen ![]() Truly orgasmic, oh Devastator is in the film as well, the Decepticon that is composed of 5 other robots ![]() But yeah, in reality what they're doing isn't really illegal. As long as they use a different title, characters, and somewhat of a different plot, they're not doing much that is illegal. |

I know, I drew some Transformer designs as well, they were so freakin awesome. I actually started laughing when I saw some of the "film" trailers from these goons, they can do so much better

I don't even know why they make trailers (thank dog they don't air here); in fact, we can't even post comments on their trailers on Youtube, probably cos they already know how much fucked up they are. My favourite's Tiny Robots trailer. Not only do they imply something shocking for a children movie (total extinction of mankind), they also have Darth Vader as the bad guy and Wall-E as the hero Edited by Carlos, Mar 30 2009, 06:28 PM.

When I said that I was thinking of Howl's Moving Castle (not that there's any reason to get worried, since Dingo Pictures [the traditional animation section] isn't active since the demise of western traditional animation). That movie you showed is awsome! Quite well, made, the shading made it look very realistic |

9 looks like it's going to be awesome - adorable living rag dolls in a post-apocalyptic wasteland fighting creepy monsters made from cat bones and random junk, what's not to love? Disney and Bluth have been fouling their own nest with cheapo released-to-video sequels for quite a while, now. It's really the consumers who are to blame though, people would rather pick up a half-assed sequel with a familiar brand name than risk watching something new. I've seen lots of animation (from other countries) I think would do well here if it were advertised correctly or given wide release, but there just isn't the money to do it. They don't even show good older movies on channels like Nick or Cartoon Network (even Boomerang sticks to crappy series rather than movies). Don;t even get me started on marketing wide-release animation to ADULTS. |

Well, Don Bluth usually never has anything to do with the sequels of his movies (aside from Bartok the Magnificient, and that was a prequel), so its always the companies that are to blame. Its kinda of strange that most of the successfull traditional animated movies are from Disney; AFAIK only Land Before Time and American Tail had well deserved audiences, though many other movies became cult classics. Thats the problem you see: Disney got all the propaganda, pushing everything else in the same category to a dark cornor, and only DreamWorks seems to be capable of competing with it. Though, since it no longer makes traditional animated movies, I guess that, if there are any more to come, Disney won't be able to make a traditional animated movie to overshadow it, since it fired its previous workers |

I wouldn't call them leeches, because in my view they don't effect how much the movies there knocking off make in the box office. |

Disney is actually going to release another animated film. It will also be their first film with a black protagonist (heck it might be their first film with a black character). Disney was beaten in the year that the Land Before Time was released. |

Reminds me of how for every cereal brand in a store, there is the store's version of the brand, for instance, at Publix (located in Florida and other southern states), if there is Cocoa Puffs, there is Cocoa Crunchies. But that is different than totally ripping off good movies, such as Kung Fu Panda and WALL-E (possibly ripped off under "Little Robots"). |

Tiny Robots, as I explained, is a stupid combination of Robots, Wall-E, Star Wars, and the possibilty mankin might become extinct in the future. And Titanomonstrus, An American Tail is another movie that beated Disney. And I'm well aware of Frog Princess, but it might very well be their last traditional animated movie. |

Oh, I see. They can't fuck DreamWorks so they expand their market. Very nice. Well, at least 3d won't be so opressive anymore |
