| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Wow... mysticism and fung shui? Reminds me of how I tried to build a time machine out of a VCR when I was a little kid... |

I'll try to be open-minded. What exactly are the differences between it and the more accepted ideas of evolution? |

Sounds like crap. That's like saying "My car's engine works by internal combustion and elves on treadmills."

I mean, asian mystic traditions have absolutely nothing to do with biology. They do have things to do with theology though |

basicly this guy thinks that there are 2 levels of reality 1 is nonmaterial and nonlocal the 2nd is ours. in order too understand it you have too read it with an open mind becouse i am not very good at describing it at all. it has some good points about the defects of neodarwinism. it has now incorporated chakra points and chi into it along with homeopathy and acupunture. plus some things like chaos theory and the anthropic principle. theres more too it but i am not going too tell every thing. ttyl see yah |

Did he write this just to piss me off? The only book I could think I would like less would be "Commie Nazis: Putting Socialism back into National Socialism." Energy path ways and wheels? Magic water and suger? Nonsense of the highest order. I have an open mind but I don't let my brain fall out. Let him publish a paper it in a peer reveiwed journal. |

Usually such books are either written by idiots or they are meant to be satire. |

Teach me anything? Well, like the bible it might have to odd gem of true, but we will probably already know about it. As for a laugh? Probably not I don't find insultingly wrong things funny. May I recommend that you read Happyslapped by A Jellyfish instead. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Happyslapped-jellyfish-words-Karl-Pilkington/dp/1405328479 |
