Toryn had grown quite attached to his son after returning from Astyanax's hold and ever since he swore to protect the young child. His son and his lover had become his life and since he was the patriarch of the Ipswich family, with the exception of James, he had a duty to protect everyone inside of it. He was sure his brothers could hold their own to defend their family, especially Roman, who had the insanely growing family on his hands. Vanessa and himself had five children already, plus three from Roman's previous marriage. Toryn was just fine with his one for now. As Toryn slowly made his way down the grand staircase in nothing but a pair of blackwash jeans, and a tee shirt he slowly moved into the kitchen. It wasn't exactly late in the morning but early for some and he smiled when he saw his son sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal and then his lover standing at the sink washing the dishes she had just used. "Morning, love." Toryn whispered against her ear before he placed a tender kiss on her temple and then turned around to face his son after swiftly and with great surprise placing a smack on Celeste's ass. "Hey, little man," Toryn said to his son as he ran his large hand over his son's patch of black hair. When Toryn Jr. reached for him, Toryn picked him up in his arms and smiled. "What kind of cereal do you have there?" Toryn asked with sudden curiousness, though he wasn't really all that curious about human food. "Cheerios!" Toryn Jr. shouted as he giggled quietly and then motioned down so that he could continue to eat his cereal. Once Toryn had placed his tiny son back down in his high chair he turned to face Celeste once more. "Your mother called just a minute ago, she wants us to come over today and hang around over there." Toryn told Celeste and then he sat down in one of the kitchen chairs. His large hand of stone ran over his lightly stubbled chin and he waited to see Celeste's reaction as he watched his son more or less play with his food instead of eat it. "She also said that your father and a visitor are in and would like to see you." Toryn continued and then chuckled quietly. Cole wasn't all that fond of Toryn. Toryn had slid the pack of cigarettes that he had recently bought, a habit he had picked up from quite a few of his brothers, and slid a smoke into his mouth. Without wasting a second he lit the cigarette and took a drag before removing it. "Your father is going to flip when he sees Toryn, but I'd like him to see his grandmother and grandfather as much as possible." Toryn finally finished and then stared at her, taking in every aspect of her body before locking his eyes on her face. When Toryn said grandmother and grandfather he meant Tanya and James, he didn't view Cole as anything to Toryn Jr. because of how he was with Celeste. |

As Celeste stood at the sink washing the dishes, she could hear Toryn Jr. behind her eating his cheerios with a quiet smacking sound as they waited for Toryn to come downstairs. He had obviously been up since the crack of dawn, like always, but he had been busy with whatever it was that he did with his position as king. Celeste never really knew what he was doing but he seemed important so she went with it. Toryn liked to keep Celeste and Toryn Jr. out of that lifestyle but Celeste didn't really mind. SHe was a human and matters of vampires didn't really concern her most of the time. When Toryn came downstairs and up behind Celeste, a small smirk came over her slender lips right before Toryn placed a hard smack on her ass. Jumping, Celeste chuckled and her smirk only widened. "Well good morning to you too," Celeste said as she turned around to watch Toryn with his son across the room. After draining the sink of the soapy water inside of it, Celeste wiped her wet hands off on a navy blue towel that hung on the front of the oven. As Toryn began to talk, Celeste listened and hung the towel back up where it belonged. "Well I think that'd be a good idea. Minus the Cole part. I never look forward to seeing that man," Celeste mumbled in an obviously unhappy tone of voice. She hated her father more than anything and knew that if he saw Toryn Jr. he would probably have a shit fit or want to suddenly be part of his life, which Celeste was not having. "So after he finishes eating, we can just grab his coat and head over. I'm all ready to go if you are, babe." |

"I'd just have to go put shoes on but then I'd be all ready." Toryn responded and then grabbed his Converse from the mat in the kitchen where he and his son placed their muddy shoes after they came back from hunting in the morning. Toryn's shoes weren't exactly muddy, but he didn't want to mess up the house that Celeste had kept clean for them. Once he slid each foot into the shoe and then laced it up and tied them he pulled his jeans back down and sat back. "You know he's also going to freak about Slater, my sister called and said that she slept over there last night and they stayed in his room but heard Cole this morning. I got a text not too long ago and they said that they still hadn't gone down, so that'll be something else." Toryn said and then rose from his chair to grab his son's jacket in the next room and then returned to kitchen with it. After sliding it onto his son's tiny body he pulled the bowl away from him now that he was just playing and put it in the sink. Toryn had picked his son up with ease and then grabbed the Porsche keys from the rack and twirled them in his hand. "So then let's go," Toryn said and placed his hand on the small of Celeste's back as they moved to the front door. |

Celeste moved past Toryn and their son to the door where her boots lay. After sliding one on each foot, Celeste zipped them up the sides and then pulled her tight jeans over the top of the shiny, black leather boots. She then gave both of her men gentle, loving kisses on their cheeks before pulling open the door for them then heading outside. Once the small Ipswich family had loaded into Toryn's vehicle, Celeste relaxed in her seat and then pulled out a tube of pale lipstick from her purse before flipping down the visor in front of her . "So seeing dad is always a bunch of fun. Can't you tell I'm so excited? He'll love the fact that I have a son with the Dragomir king," Celeste muttered as she examined herself in the mirror and began to apply the lipstick to her slender lips. Once she had finished, she tossed her tube of lipstick back in the bag at her feet. "And you know I really wanna know who this visitor is. Dad doesn't have many friends so I can only imagine it's a woman of his. Bet he got another woman pregnant, how much you wanna bet me?" Celeste leaned back in her seat once again and watched the scenery as it passed. It wasn't far from the mansion to Celeste's house so as the house came into view, she was both nervous and excited. It had been too long since she had spent some quality time with her mother. |

"If I bet you I'd only be getting my money back, Celeste." Toryn teased quietly and then killed the engine when he pulled up into Tanya's driveway. James' Mercedes was the car ahead of them and he sighed quietly as he stared over at Celeste. James being here would just cause drama, though James now lived here and paid the bills, he could come and go in his house as he pleased. Morgan's Hummer was parked at the front of the driveway and he glanced up at the room that was known as Slater's. He was sure Cole still didn't know his son was here yet, so it'd be a shock to the man for sure. Toryn had put the keys in his pocket as he climbed from the car and adjusted the Aviator sunglasses he wore to rest on his head as he grabbed his son from his car seat. "Ready to see Grandma?" Toryn asked his tiny son as he watched him grab the sunglasses from his head and place them over his eyes. When Toryn Jr. reached for his father's hat and put that on, he laughed quietly and headed up the steps with Celeste by his side. When they reached the front door Toryn twisted it open and then glanced around once he stepped inside. "Tanya? James?" Toryn called as he waited for someone to answer back. |

Cole rose from his spot in the dining room and appeared in the doorway when he heard Toryn calling for Tanya. When he saw his daughter and her boyfriend before him, his eyes widened dramatically when he saw a small child in the king's arms. "Celeste, what's this?" Cole asked, nodding to the child. Tanya hadn't mentioned a thing but now that he thought about it, there were a thousand pictures of that kid hanging up on the fridge. "Since when did you have a kid? And why wasn't I informed?" He asked in a rather angry tone of voice. Tanya rose from the table before Travis could and rushed past Cole to where Celest eand Toryn stood with her grandson. "I swear I didn't know who he was bringing with him," Tanya whispered, even though she knew all those vampires could hear her. "I didn't know it was...him." Tanya had tried for years to keep Celeste and Travis away from each other. After all, it was the very reason they had moved to Rockland in the first place and now here he was in her house. Tanya was far too nice to throw him out, she just couldn't be mean to a soul. Celeste brushed off what her mother was saying, she was far too focused on her father's angry attitude about Toryn Jr. "Dad, you were hardly a father to me so what makes you think you'd be a grandfather? Oh maybe cause he's a boy? And his father is king? Yeah I'm sure you're just upset because you couldn't share in the glory or whatever. I don't want you around him, frankly. That's that." |

Travis had shoved past Tanya and then Cole to enter the room right before the dining room and where the front door was. His stone cold eyes locked on the woman he still called his, despite her stubborness. Celeste was his and would always be his, despite any man she said she loved. He would have her and destroy anyone who tried to take his prize. With his hands shoved into the pockets of his slacks he smirked at the young woman across the room from him. "Hello, Celeste," Travis said coyly and waited to see her reaction. Toryn had handed his son to Celeste and then procceded to stand in front of his small family as another vampire exited the dining room. Celeste had explained who the man was to him before and just the thought of him made Toryn want to rip him to shreds, though for now he had to be civil. "Cole, the discussion was made without you months ago. Celeste decided that she didn't want you around our son and after you were told that and decided to come around we could remove you with force." Toryn explained to the vampire that was obviously much younger than him, though he didn't acknowledge Travis yet. He'd wait to do that next. James had stood in the living room doorway with his arms folded over his chest as he stared across the room at the other vampires that had surrounded his family. James had seen the two vampires when they arrived but assumed that they were relation to Celeste and let Tanya handle it, though once he heard the angry tone from his office he darted to where the commotion was coming from. When James had examined the situation and watched as Tanya moved to stand by his side. After quietly asking if she was alright he moved his hand to the small of her back and watched what else was going to happen. Slater had been staring out the window the entire time that they waited for Toryn to come over. Slater knew that Cole hadn't seen him in seventeen years and since he was born human he was sure Cole wouldn't be happy of what he was now. When Slater's enhanced eyesight caught the Porsche pull up into the driveway he turned around to face Morgan who was still laying in his bed. "Your brother is here," Slater informed his mate as he placed the black, fitted cap onto his head and then slimmed out the gray tank top he wore. "You wanna go down now?" He finally added as he moved towards the door. Edited by Toryn Ipswich, Apr 18 2009, 08:05 PM.

From the moment Celeste saw Travis enter the room, she felt her heart and stomach drop to the pit of her body. For a second she thought she might be sick to her stomach but she pushed the thought of throwing up away quickly. "T-Travis," Celeste stammered out as she held onto her son, her eyes never leaving Travis' form. "What are you doing here?" Celeste asked, her focus completely gone from the conversation with her father. Travis had tormented her in ways people couldn't comprehend for many years and now that he had just showed up like this, she was a little scared. "Oh Celeste, Travis just insisted he should come visit. He ranted about how he missed you and didn't know where you had moved to. I invited him along and knew you'd just be happy to see him," Cole said as he folded his arms across his chest. When Celeste had been with Travis, he had seen his daughter a lot more because Travis was his best friend. "Was thinking about moving from England even." "I think we better wait til things cool off downstairs," Morgan whispered, even though she wasn't sure why she was whispering. She could hear the commotion downstairs and even worse than that, she could feel the rollercoaster of emotions. It was part of her power. After rising from her spot in bed, Morgan pulled on a pair of blue jean shorts over her underwear and then slid on a black tank top after that. |

Travis had listened to Cole and after he had finished speaking he smiled just a little bit and moved just a step closer to Celeste. Travis needed to figure out a way to get the big idiot away from Celeste and then the kid and he could have her. That was plain and simple. "You didn't think I'd forget about you, did you, Celeste?" Travis questioned as he narrowed his eyes at her just a bit. "How could I forget the woman that left me to come to this fucking country and then betray me by getting with this giant monkey?" Travis asked and chuckled quietly at the way he phrased that sentence. Once he stepped around Toryn and then handed the child to him, he moved a hand to Celeste's face. "No one leaves, Travis Ryder, you of all people should know that by now. Or do you need another pretty carving to be reminded of that?" Travis whispered against her ear, though he watched the monkey next to him carefully. "No," Slater said as he listened carefully to what was going on downstairs. "Because now some fucking faggot is threatening my sister." Slater told Morgan and then dashed from the bedroom and moved down the hallway. Slater was very protective over his sister and even though he was only a few months older than she, he acted if he was a few years older than her. When he moved down the steps and tried to move towards the man in the suit he felt someone grab his shirt and then grab him back. "Easy, Slater," James said quietly and held the young vampire from attacking Travis. Travis had gotten the entire family worked up but it'd be easier to work this out with words than with fighting. When Slater finally began to calm down, James caught a glance of Morgan coming down the steps and pushed the man whom he considered his son-in-law in her direction. When he saw Morgan wrap her arms around his next from behind, James was satisfied with the fact that fighting wouldn't be happening right now. Toryn watched as Travis touched his lover with stone cold eyes and ignored the questions his son was asking for the most part. When Travis threanted Celeste he felt every single muscle in his body tense and could feel his eyes narrow, glaring daggers at the man. Toryn just wanted to punch him now, knock him away from Celeste, but after James had held Slater back he knew that if tried the same James wouldn't be as forgiving with his eldest son. |

Celeste was about to explode when Travis touched her son but when he placed his hand on the side of her face, her eyes reflexively slid closed. Not from pleasure but rather fear. The small flinch gave that away. Then Travis threatened her and she felt every part of her body tense beneath his touch, genuinely terrified. "Travis, I...I'm sorry I just don't love you and I finally don't need you anymore," Celeste said, finally managing up the courage to say that to him. "I still have ths scar from last time, I certainly don't need another one to remember you by. I'm in love with Toryn now and I'm him. I..I'm not afraid of you now." Celeste forced her eyes open to stare up at him and when her eyes locked with his, she swallowed hard. "Maybe it's best the little boy isn't in here for this?" Cole questioned as his eyes darted to Toryn and his son. His purpose was to get Toryn out of the room for a second so maybe Travis could work his magic or even take her. "Tanya could take him if you'd like." Cole wasn't even going to start on how furious he was at Tanya's new man. That would be addressed later. Though, after shooting the new man a glance, a new, tall and large vampire caught his attention with a darker female hanging off of him. "There's no way that's my son, Slater. Is that you?" Morgan kept her hold on Slater as his father addressed him. As his lover and his sire, she was double overprotective over him. Morgan directed her attention to Cole and then moved her hold on Slater down to wrap her arms around one of his large, muscular arms. Morgan knew Cole hadn't been a part of Slater's life much, just like Celeste but if he was here and going to be civil then she expected Slater to be civil as well. Tanya definitely agreed that Toryn Jr. didn't need to see any fighting or arguing, which was going to happen with all these vampires around and hating each other as much as they did. "I can take Toryn Jr, yes," Tanya said as she took a step forward, towards Toryn. "I'll take him to his playroom and keep an eye on him if you want. It's up to you, Toryn." |
