As Celeste made her way through the town of Rockland, she left her hands shoved in the front pockets of her dark blue jean skirt. It was chilly out and Celeste had instantly regretted wearing the skirt. Celeste released her hands from the front pockets to wrap the brown leather jacket she wore tighter around herself when she caught a chill. The wind was like a knife cutting through the bare flesh of her body but she wasn't going home, despite the call for snow tonight. Celeste rounded a corner on the strip and glanced around. No one was around so quietly she slipped into the back door of a bar she was very familiar with. Once inside, Celeste quickly brushed off the sensation that she was being followed. It had been that way all night. Ever since she left home. Celeste glanced around the bustling bar and made her way over to a small group of girlfriends waiting in the corner booth for her. The crowd Celeste hung out with was always much older than her and so when they slid her a beer across the table, Celeste gratefully picked it up and began to drink it. After thirty minutes or so, Celeste's friends all went their separate ways and Celeste made her way back outside, through the front doors this time. The cold, brisk air sent chills throughout her body and she shivered greatly. As her hazel eyes scanned the area, Celeste made her way down the sidewalk once more, nearing the outskirts of town. She wasn't sure what she was going to do next but it was early still. Only midnight and Celeste wasn't about to go home just yet. |

Toryn had been the following the woman he met a few weeks ago at a quieter bar ever since that night. She had left a piece of her with him and he felt inclined to watch her, some would even go as far as stalk. He didn't care though, he felt a connection to her and wanted to figure out why. He had slowly followed her to the first bar and instead of following her through the back door, he used the front and moved to the far edge of the bar. After ordering a round of drinks that were ordered to keep coming, he lit a cigarette. Toryn was only half done with it when he saw the woman get up from her chair and exit the bar. Toryn had quickly grabbed his jacket from the back of his chair and paid the bar tender before he followed her. When he opened the door to the bar, the gust of wind didn't affect him at all. After all, he was dead. After giving a small nod to the bouncer he continued to follow the golden haired woman down the sidewalk. With a sigh, when he saw her head towards more bars, he shoved his hands into his pockets. Though, Toryn's keen senses picked something up about halfway down the road. It seemed he wasn't the woman's only stalker. Before he had realized it, a Strigoi vampire a lept from behind a building and pinned the woman to the ground. With a growl sounding deep in his throat, Toryn had charged foward and knocked the vampire from her. Valion had stopped at the woman's feet, making sure she was easily covered and stared over at the Strigoi. "So it seems the king has finally found his queen." The Strigoi hissed with a malicious grin. "Good, double the fall, and with no heir, it seems that line is over." "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Toryn asked the vampire and growled a bit louder as he dropped the jacket from his body. In the next instant, the Strigoi had lunged onto Toryn, swinging furiously at his face and neck. |

Celeste was taken aback when she was suddenly tackled by what she assumed to be a vampire. Celeste's head hit the concrete pretty hard but it was nothing compared to the shock she felt within her when she saw Toryn standing in front of her, defending her from the attacker. Celeste glared at the back of Toryn's hair for a minute. She knew she was being followed. It was nice to know she wasn't insane but at the same time, she was pretty shocked that it had been Toryn following her. The last time the two had seen each other, they had clicked almost instantly and after a few hours fogging up the glass in his car, the two had parted ways. Celeste sat up on her elbows and rubbed the back of her head. As the two vampires fought, it seemed like Toryn was going to win for a while. Celeste then rose to her feet and took a few steps back, to get out of the way. She wasn't going to leave Toryn, not after he had saved her life like this. Celeste wanted to make sure he was okay but as the attacker began to gain the upper hand, Celeste was worried. Eyes wide, Celeste sighed. She didn't know what to do and she knew helping would be completely pointless. |

Toryn had gained the upper hand in the fight for most of it until the Strigoi vampire had pushed his chin up and then lent foward to dig his razor sharp teeth into the soft flesh of Toryn's neck. Toryn's eyes went wide with horror as the Strigoi seemed to rip a large chunk from his flesh and then when Toryn rolled over, he took off. Either more vampires or coming or he was going to leave Toryn for dead. Toryn had laid sprawled out on the concrete, coughing up the blood that was pooling in his mouth for a few moments until he had blacked out. Of course, Toryn couldn't die this way but he could get seriously hurt, and just being left like this was a harm to his kind. Though the one thing that his mind kept going to was Celeste. Had the Strigoi come back to get her? He didn't know but his mind was overly concerned and he just wanted to get up and awake to see if she was okay. |

The instant the attacking vampire fled from the fight, Celeste rushed over to Toryn's side and stared down at him wide eyed. There was a large chunk of flesh missing from his neck and he was bleeding quite profusely. Celeste pulled her cell phone out from the front pocket of her skirt and quickly dialed the number for a cab company. After explaining her location, Celeste hung up the phone and shoved it back in her pocket. Ten minutes later, the cab pulled up on the street right in front of where she sat with Toryn. Celeste hoisted Toryn up and let his weight rest against her body. When the cab driver asked if he was hurt, Celeste said it was nothing and that he had only hurt himself because he was drunk off his ass. The cab driver thankfully bought her story and laughed. After giving the driver the address to her home, Celeste continued to apply pressure to the side of Toryn's neck with the heel of the palm of her hand. It was something her mother had taught her before Tanya had dropped out of nursing school. In less than twelve more minutes, the cab pulled up into the driveway of Celeste's rather large home where she resided with her mother. Celeste knew her mother would be asleep. She went to sleep every night at exactly ten-thirty and only woke up twice. Once at two a.m. to make sure Celeste was in bed and again at five to go to the bathroom. Celeste had her mother's schedule down to a science. After paying the cab driver, Celeste helped Toryn from the vehicle and up the driveway. Sighing, Celeste reached in the mailbox and pulled out the key that was hidden there. She then slipped it into the doorknob and twisted it to the left. She had to peak in first to make sure her mother wasn't asleep on the couch and when she saw that she wasn't, Celeste tracked quickly through the large home and up the winding staircase to her room. Once she had managed to get Toryn on her bed, Celeste yanked off the leather jacket she wore. That was quite the workout and now Celeste was exhausted and breathing rather heavily. "Jesus fucking christ," Celeste muttered as she kicked off her heels and made her way to the double doors of her bedroom to close and then lock them. |

Toryn had groaned quietly when he felt the softness of the mattress beneath him. His hunter eyes had slowly opened and glanced around the room that seemed fuzzy to him. Toryn had slowly moved his hand to his neck and when he felt the wet fluid against his large hand he groaned again, his vision wasn't getting any better. Toryn had just given up trying to find out where he was with his eyes and relied on his other senses, scent being the main one. Toryn had inhaled deeply and relaxed just a bit when he smelt Celeste's familiar scent. "Celeste," Toryn huffed and stopped breathing completely so that it didn't sound like he was suffocating. "I need to feed." Toryn said more calmly now and just laid there. Now that he wasn't breathing he had no idea where Celeste was and couldn't hear very well thanks to the blows his head received. "Celeste!" Toryn called though it wasn't that loud. He was practically frantic now. He still had no idea where he was and the fear of being alone in this state was starting to consume him. |

"Damn it, Toryn, shut up," Celeste spat as she rushed back through the door with a pair of clothes that belonged to her father who was rarely here and a few bandages. She wasn't sure if she would need them but it was better to have them in here just in case. Celeste couldn't go rummaging through the closet the next morning while her mother was up, that would give away everything. Celeste dropped all she had brought in next to the bed as she knelt next to him on the mattress of the bed. Celeste now wore a pair of soft, red night shorts and a white tank top with a bright red bra shining through it. Celeste gave his forehead a delicate kiss and let her eyes slowly trail over his body. He needed to get out of those bloody, dirty, ripped clothes. She made a mental note to do that as soon as possible for him to make him more comfortable. "It's okay, Toryn. You're safe and I'm safe. You're at my house but my mom is here so you have to be quiet or we're dead. You said you need to feed?" Celeste questioned as she slung her golden hair over her shoulder and carefully straddled his waist. Though Celeste had never offered herself to Travis, he had fed from her many times when he was just too lazy to go out and hunt. Celeste leaned down and whispered against Toryn's ear. "Take my blood." |

Toryn had forced his eyes open when felt the pressure of Celeste's body straddling his waist. For a second he wanted to resist her blood, but without it he couldn't heal at all. Toryn's large hands had slowly slid up her torso and once he reached the brim of her tank top he ripped it open with ease. Toryn had then moved his hands to her breasts, but when he felt the fabric of her bra, he moved his hands back to the straps and ripped it open. Toryn had pulled her down closer to him until he had gently sank his razor like teeth into the flesh of her chest. Toryn slowly began to suck as the warm liquid pooled into his mouth and with every mouthful that went down his throat he wanted more. Though, Toryn had controlled himself enough to not suck her dry completely. Toryn began to suck a bit harder when he felt the flesh of his neck mend and held her tighter against him. When the flesh of his neck was completely healed, he had carefully pulled his teeth from his breast. Toryn had licked whatever was left from his lips and then stared up at her with re-newed eyesight. Toryn's eyesight was fine now and his neck as completely healed, though, he knew he'd feel horrible in the morning as an after effect. |

The moment Toryn's fangs sank into the tender flesh of her chest, Celeste's eyes immediately slipped closed and she grit her teeth together hard. It hurt but it was just the right amount of pain to feel good. Oh, how good it felt too. Celeste's hands moved to the back of Toryn's head and tangled in his hair. When he pulled her down and clung to her tightly, Celeste's whole body relaxed in his grip. "Oh god," Celeste breathed, her breath heavy and warm against his ear as she noticed he was healing beneath her. When, at last, Toryn pulled his sharp teeth from her breast, Celeste didn't want it to stop. Her hands remained clung and tangled in his hair, she didn't want that sensation to stop. It felt almost like an orgasm and now she wanted him even more than she had that first night they had met. Celeste forced her eyes open to stare down at him and their eyes locked. "H-How are you feeling n-now?" Celeste asked, stammering somewhat from the near ecstasy sensation she had just experienced from Toryn feeding from her. Her eyes never left his and her hands merely moved to rest on each side of his face. |

"Better, thanks." Toryn breathed and kept his hunter eyes locked with hers. Toryn's hands had remained on her back as he carefully rolled them over and slid off of her to lay next to her, his arms never leaving her body. When Toryn saw that her chest was still dripping blood somewhat, he lent down to lick it up and laid back when the blood flow had ceased. One of Toryn's hands unwillingly pulled from her body to massage his sore neck, the new flesh feeling somewhat odd to him. "Gonna feel it in the morning though. Always do." Toryn told her and closed his eyes just a bit as he laid his head down on her soft pillows. "And your chest is going to unfortunately bruise." Toryn informed her and stared up at her once more. Toryn didn't know what currently kept him here and the fact that he was attracted to a human was going to be spread around the vampire community like wildfire, but he was drawn to her and there was no doubt about that. |
