Species: Elf
Gender: Female

Birthday: November 21, 1966

Appearance

Appearance: Idriel has flowing, golden blonde hair that reaches just past her shoulders with miniscule waves throughout, giving it body. She has bluish-gray eyes and a flawless, porcelain complexion, as typical for the Elven species.

Normal Clothing: Idriel can usually be found wearing long, slender, flowing dresses that are required of her in Nehatah. However, whenever at all possible, Idriel loves to ditch her dress attire for a more relaxed fit that she picked up on her many trips to Earth. Sweat pants and t-shirts are her favorite, even if she would be condemned by her kind for wearing such a thing.
Accessories: Idriel wears a single pearl drop necklace that was given to her by her father on the day of her birth. Idriel holds this close to her heart and would not be caught anywhere without it.

Background

History:
Idriel was born to one of the most prestigious families in Nehatah. Her father was the leader of the royal guard and her mother one of the most powerful healers of their people. As the eldest of six children, a lot of the household responsibilities were left up to Idriel. Although she slacked most of the time and was considered the black sheep of her family, she still grew up with a very well known reputation. Idriel never wanted for a thing throughout her life and was, therefore, considered a “brat” among many of the other children of her homeland.
As a child, Idriel was always out and about, spending her time in nature and roughhousing with the boys. She did whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, and answered to no one. Her father never had the heart to discipline her and her mother never felt it her place. Her parents were as putty in her hands.

As Idriel grew, her attitude only worsened and her popularity among the other elves her age group only encouraged her ill behavior. During her later teen years, her ego was quickly put in check with the talk of marriage from her parents. The prince of Nehatah had asked for Idriel’s hand in marriage and her parents had agreed to the proposition without as much as a second thought to Idriel’s happiness. They only thought of how good it would be for their family and how it might change Idriel’s behavior for the best.

It didn’t matter what Idriel said, what she did, or how loud she screamed, the decision had been made and they would not reconsider for her sake. In Idriel’s opinion, the prince was far too old for her and she was too young to be settling down just yet. So once Idriel heard rumor of elves leaving Nehatah, she took notice and made up her mind almost instantly that she would find a way to the land where the mortals dwelled.
It wasn’t long before her spying and prying had gotten her in touch with one of the elves who traveled to Earth frequently. He agreed to show her the portal for a price. After a few trips back and forth from her homeland to Earth, she wonders what the right choice would be. To stay in Nehatah and suffer her predestined future or run away and never look back.

Idriel is used to getting her way and demands such from anyone she comes in contact with on a regular basis. She won’t take less than the respect she believes she deserves. However, changes in Idriel’s personality lately have led her to begin to branch out in life, quite possibly changing her forever.

Drawn together, painters brush stroke.
Slight of hand, we, we won't go up in smoke.
Fates colliding, love undying.
Like a rising tide, beating hearts grow by never die.
To simplify, I'll stand by your side, close my eyes, hope will never die.
