In this current reincarnation of the team they came together after the fallout from Annihilation: Conquest, the current team is Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Mantis, Gamora, Quasar(Captian Marvel's daughter), Adam Warlock and Drax. It's already up to issue 4, it's written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning their doing a wonderful job by the way, but I digress, the team was brought together to fix "phishers" (tears in the Universe) but as any other team they've run into quite a few problems. This is one of my fav. books and well worth the money  |
