Hey guys! For those of you who can't find the time to come to review board (or, you know, have lives Friday nights.) You can still make suggestions on what the review board should, well, review.

There are of course, guidelines to what we can watch:

-Unlicensed anime is always a plus. The club has to pay to show anime that has been licensed and we would like to keep that to a minimum. If it's been dubbed, then it's licensed. However, Funimation charges nothing for their licensing rights (and they pretty much own all of American anime these days), so we won't say no to them at all.
-Nothing extremely popular. If you've seen it on adult swim, we can't watch it. We like to show things that people don't normally see. Also, everyone who wants to see Gurren Lagann has already seen Gurren Lagann, so there's no real point it showing it a club is there. (which reminds me that the second movie is out and you should watch it)
Roughly this means no Code Geass, no Cowboy Bebop, no Dragonball Z, and no Naruto. Events however...
Try talking to our wonderful officers about that.
-Nothing insanely long or insanely short. The preview system we now have makes these series actually viable, but they wouldn't be our main series. So we can't show Monster or Soul Eater as our main series, but possibly a preview series. Just keep that in mind.

Thanks! You guys should have say over what you watch, so go ahead and suggest something. We always appreciate outside support, and remember that people who drop by review board after club are always welcome!

See you on Fridays!
-Nick

Oh! and one more thing!
-Try to steer away from anime with questionable content. Excessive violence, rape, abuse. Anything that could make an adviser shut us down. We're pretty loose with violence, but nothing else please.

thanks!

I've suggested Karin: Chibi Vampire but I don't know if it's ever been considered. Here's a link to the info anyway though. If you guys need the episodes I have them dled already :)

Well... If you don't mind it being a little old, Slayers is an excellent anime series that I'm pretty sure most people would enjoy. It might be pretty well known already though, so maybe it wouldn't be a good idea... ^^;

Chibi Vampire is on the list. I personally plan to watch it over the summer.
Slayers might work, but I'll need to check who has the licensing for it. Which series do you recommend? there are a lot of them.

Keep the recommendations coming!
