If you get this e-mail, DO NOT CLICK GO TO THE LINK. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PRIVATE INFO. It is a scam. Paypal will never ask you for information or ask you to click on a link in their e-mail.
I repeat: THIS IS A SCAM. If you ever need to update your account, you would be asked to go to the paypal site to login normally and update your info. Never click on a link to do it. Edited by JanWhatever, Dec 5 2008, 10:15 PM.

Gee, I got that email the other day, but since I don't use PayPal, I just deleted it. Strange they sent that to me when I don't have an account with them. If there's anything I need to pay for on the internet, I'd rather pay by an American Express Money Order. Thanks Jan for posting this here. Hopefully, no one got scammed. People get scammed by this kind of thing all the time. It looks very legitimate to those who aren't Internet and "e-mail scam" savvy. Paypal is aware of this type of scam and if you go to their site you can read why to never fall for this type of e-mail. ~Jan Edited by JanWhatever, Nov 29 2008, 06:49 PM.

Thanx for the heads-up. I never go to a link from an email... If I have to, I copy and paste it, instead. *but only if I'm familiar with it* Edited by MrsDM, Nov 29 2008, 08:38 PM.
