When Simon said what he said I didn't know what to think, but I think it is great that Clay is referred to so often. I liked Von, but he didn't remind me of Clay. There will never be another Clay. I thought the group last night was the strongest of all the groups. I know Lil, the guy who is blind(can't think of his name) and not sure about the other guy will go through. I would pick Von, but there are two more strong guys who could possibly make it through. The girls are just not strong this year. I pick Adam at this time to be the winner. I may change my mind in the future. We will see. |

I think they brought her back because she is such a drama queen. People love to hate her. And she has a really good voice which makes her controversial. Bebop and I both groan everytime she is on stage. Often several times.

Wild Card Time!! I'm going to kind of rush through this....kind of. Jessie: Didn't recognize the song, but she performed it very well......voice-wise though, there were some sharp moments in the beginning. Matt: Well, that was a way better song choice than last time, and he had some really nice high notes. It was a little too run-erific for me, but he did a pretty good job. Megan: Another good song for her voice and quirky style, and she did a fairly solid job. The weird dancing was still there, but I found myself laughing at it instead of being annoyed by it. Von: Uh-oh. He had some major problems with his dynamic control here. He restrained himself too much in the beginning, and pushed it way too hard towards the end. This was not good at all. Jasmine: Better song choice, and a better vocal performance. She still leaves me cold, though. Ricky: Nice to see him go uptempo. I think Ricky is the best male singer this year, and he proves it yet again with a stellar vocal perforance. his dancing and swaying were both awkward and funny. Tatiana: She had some good moments, but please can the Whitney songs. I'm so tired of them. And I'm tired of the babbling banter between her and the judges. Anoop: Another resurrected song choice, but he completely works the crowd and the stage. He is still my top favorite this season. Picks: Yay for Anoop and Megan! Eh for Matt and Jasmine! I had never been a follower of AI, then, after I "discovered" Clay, I have watched it ever since. I honestly can say I've never heard anyone with that rock'em, sock'em powerful voice like Clay presented during his run on AI. I've watched lots of AI clack of Clay's performances and (IMO) I just haven't heard any note-holding, beautiful sounding, voice like Clay has. |
