When it gets to this point in the show it's hard for me to pick a favorite. They all are so entertaining. I think Brooke is the best dancer, but not the best entertainer and b/c I got hooked on this little show called American Idol, I have come to look at the whole package.

I'm looking forward to it, too! But now I am tempted to watch The Big Bang Theory. Maybe I will catch that when DWTS is over. :thumbsup

For the record, even though Brooke and Derek are beautiful dancers, for personality, I love Lacey and Lance!

Well, it was a fun night. I thought all the couples did a good job. Warren has the personality!!!! He might not have the technique, but he makes up for it in his personality. I thought Brooke & Derek did a good job during the samba portion, but I thought that Lance & Lacey were better.

During their freestyle, I thought Brooke & Derek did a good job, but I personally, did not like the hip hop routin Lance and Lacey did. Warren and Kim really tried very hard.

No matter who wins, they all deserved it!

Well, Brooke and Derek were the winners. Congrats to them. I was surprised that Warren beat out Lance but guess the votes were there. I enjoyed the show with exception of the comic roast. Had nothing to do with the competition and the negative remarks made about Lance and Clay Aiken were out of line in my opinion.
I felt this whole segment kinda put a damper on the show for me. From the sound of the audience I think there were others there who also thought so. Lance being Gay had nothing to do with his dancing ability and effort in this competition and think it should not have been a "joke" on his final night on the show. In my opinion.

I'm so happy "the DWTS" trophey ... will be staying in the Family! Since Julianne won it last season and tonight it was Derek's turn I couldn't have been more pleased! I said from the start after watching Derek dancing with Brooke I knew they take the "crown" hands down from the beginning. I love the two of them together and they really set the standards for this years season thus far! I'm so happy to see a "girl" win this round! I was so excited for Derke and of course Brooke Burke I love her, she is so pretty reminded me of this take a peek at this video I found I think you'll love it as much as I still do! I'll post it with this entry!

Link to video: Give me feedback ~

My pick won, no real contest in MHO.

Congradulations to all three couples, they all did a great job.

If you looked on the DWTS message board Tueasday night it was pretty widely posted that Lacey and Lance "cooked their goose" (not necessailly my opinion) by their free style performance. :crook

Congratulations to Brooke & Derek! I think had L & L put in some lifts and did a different type of dance for their freestyle, they might have won.

I passed on watching the whole show because I did not want to the see Jeff Ross roast. Tuned in for the last 45 minutes.

Krazy4Clay...how do we open the Video Link? I get nothing ..would love to see it.

I agree, if Lance and Lacey would have made a different selection the final night instead of Hip Hop and the last night on the jitterbug they did miss a couple of lifts so at best I still I think they might have made second place, however Burke and Derek were really consistent through out the competition..They really were the best and deserved the trophy. Will miss the show now..I checked for tickets here in Phoenix and they are expensive...for the Tour. So guess I will wait for next season.

Brooke and Derek really did deserve it. As much as I love Lacey and Lance, there freestyle dance seemed a little off .
The freestyle the night before with Brook and Derek dancing to 'Grease' was wonderful and so much fun to watch. Then, last night when she ended the dance by kissing her little girls.... awwwwwwww! :heart Her husband with tears in his eyes? Awwwww again.

Not crazy about the comedian's low blows, but I guess you have to expect that in a roast. I felt the remarks were a disservice to Lance, but he might have been prepared for worse. :dunno

{bold mine} I have to say I agree with this... I was quite put-off by Jeff's remarks... ^o)
------------------------------

I was hoping Lancey's freestyle would blow the others out of the water, but I have to agree that it was probably the weakest of all three... :sniff

I kinda knew, all along, that Brook would win - BUT - in my heart of hearts, I was hoping for the "most improved" dancer (Lance) to take the prize.
When they announced that Warren made the final two and NOT Lance - I actually got p/o'd !! :tougue

Oh well... I gotta say I did get some great enjoyment out of DWTS, again, this season...
I just didn't agree with some of the "results" (i.e.- Cloris staying over Toni Braxton; Cloris staying over Ted McGinley; Cloris being on in the first place!! :scratch_head )

Anywho.... Now I'm waiting for So You Think You Can Dance to start up again !!

BRAVO SweetT4clay I commend you on this ... :thumbsup totally! I'm so glad Clay wasn't there to watch the performances. I felt bad for Lance Bass that he had to deal with that stupid roast it had nothing to do with the "dancing" at all but could you imagine what it would of been like if Clay happen to be there in the audience too. Tempers would of fleared for sure, it's bad enough what Clay had to deal with "coming" out as they say, but this roast had nothing to do with the show at all.

I just wish people would just leave Clay alone and let him live his own life for once! Luckly Clay was never asked to do this show.

Congrats to Derek and Brooke!

Congratulations Brooke and Derek! :clap

The roast had no place in that show. This is a dancing show not a comedy show. There should have been a dance routine performed by the professionals. That would have been more appropriate. My heart went out to all the finalists especially Lance. Yet, again, Clay was the butt of a joke who was not a participant in this show.

ETA: MrsDM I am also looking forward to So You Think You Can Dance!
