I don't know....  I thought tonight's (12/5/08) show was just.. odd... disjointed... The stuff about the little girl and her brother was strange. Maybe it's just me but the transition to Melinda walking down the street with the adult "brother" was pretty contrived. And they they squeezed in the story about the guy whose girlfriend had supposedly miscarried.. I just couldn't buy it. I'm a little disappointed.. just hope next week's show will be better.Except that it apparently won't be on next week.. the preview said two weeks from tonight.

I was not happy with last weeks episode either. I thought it was just strange the way the put it together. It was almost as if they had something else in mind, but mid stream, changed to a different type of storyline. I hope that killing Jim off and becoming "Sam" does not harm this show. |

I was thinking the same thing! It also hasn't been as good since they added the new guy that is taking the place of the professor. The storyline with Sam/Jim isn't bad, but that last show was "off". I do hope other episodes are done with more care.

I'm looking forward to new ones, too. I am missing Jim being right there with Melinda in real life.  Not "reincarnated" as he apparently is now. Who else expects Melinda to turn up pregnant after a new episode or two? Remember that they were trying for a baby right before Jim was killed.

Previews of coming shows this Spring in TV Guide say, by season's end Jim will always be played by David again as the character's memories of his life with Melindia resurface- including their plans to have a baby..... Melindia and New Jim are moving toward marrying again. |

I look forward to "Jim" regaining the memory of his past life. In the meantime, the show seems to be getting more even than it was for a bit. I enjoyed it last night. |

It can be really confusing! Can you imagine if you had just started watching the show and saw this storyline? At least they have been recapping what happened in the opening each week. Kinda funny how it will show Melinda talking to "Jim-Sam" and we see him as Jim, but if there is a mirror he shows up as Sam.  I just love the show.. I am addicted.

I LOVE the show also. From the very first episode the show had ME!! This storyline reminds me of the old TV show Quantum Leap. Anyone remember that 1? Will it end up a dream? |
