If you are a meatloaf fan, here is a simple meatloaf recipe that has become my second favorite meal; spaghetti is first, by the way. I got the recipe from a site that sells seasoned croutons. I was skeptical because it was so easy to fix. Let me tell right now; it is by far the best meat loaf I have EVER tasted. You know a dish is great if you can still taste it an hour AFTER you have eaten it. The mixture of the spices in the croutons flavored the meat loaf just right. We added onions to it but other than that addition, we followed the recipe exactly. Another advantage is the time of preparation and the cooking time. ENJOY! PS: Cole Slaw REALLY tastes great with it too. I had them tonight. You do not need more spices as all the spices are on the croutons. Meat Loaf Ingredients: 1 lb. Hamburger 1 Cup Milk 1 Cup Rothbury Farms Croutons 1 Small Onion, Chopped 1 teaspoon Salt Topping 3 Tablespoons Ketchup 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon Mustard Dash of Nutmeg Directions: Preheat oven to 325°. Soften croutons in milk. Mix well with 1 lb. Of hamburger. Place in meat loaf pan. Mix topping ingredients and place over the hamburger mixture in the pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325°.
