AMERICAS GOT TALENT; REALITY COMPETITION SHOW

Well, tonight is the beginning of the talent competition@ 9:00.My main pet peeve , each segment should be competition between all singers, all dancers, other offbeat acts ,etc. IMO each group should be competing against ones in their talent group, not thrown in with everyone else in all groups. That's going to make it hard for some to get the votes they deserve,i;e Kevin Skinner, who I think is a wonderful country singer., but is thrown in with dancers, jugglers ,acrobats, etc. Hopefully ,people will realizehe is very talented & he sings from the heart.,like someone else we know.

:clap I just finished watching AGT & I am so proud of KEVIN. He was the last one to perform, but he was worth the wait.He had tears in his eyes, I had tears in my eyes during & after his performance. :cry The judge who is like Simon on AI said he is already the winner to him.IMO, he was the best of the best. H e recieved a standing ovation from everyone.Country music has never been my thing, but he makes you love it with his singing.I truly hope he makes it to the end & comes out a winner. What made it so heartbreaking, his dad was too ill to make it to the show to see him, but I know he was there in spirit& was "proud of his boy". :sniff

Susan Boyle will be appearing on America's Got Talent show this coming Wednesday. She will be singing her first single, "Wild Horses"

Childhood living it's easy to do
The things that you wanted well I bought them for you
Graceless lady, you know who I am
You know I can't let you just slide through my hands

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild horses, couldn't drag me away

I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you've decided to show me the same
But no sweet vain exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild horses, couldn't drag me away

I know I dreamt you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom, but I don't have much time
Fate has been served and tears must be cried
So let's do some living after we die

Wild horses, couldn't drag me away
Wild horses, couldn't drag me away...away

I'm really kind of nervous for KEVIN SKINNER. There are many talented performers in the finals, just hope he makes it. If not ,I feel I have done my part by voting for him. :fingerscrossed

It just shows that people appreciate a good, honest, hard working country guy! He has a lot of fans! It is hard for me to visualize him in Las Vegas, but it will be fun to see how he does. Wow! :clap
