STUDIO VERSION of "NO BOUNDRIES" and others, sung by American Idol 2009 winner Kris Allen:

You've guested it ... I actually picked this year's winner ... I knew he win for some reason I felt Kris Allen had what it took to take the title. I'm proud of Adam for his excepting the role of 2nd place to Kris ... I can't wait to see what will happen in the main future for Kris Allen!

Congratulation Kris!

I too am very pleased that Kris won and I wish him all the best in his career.

I won't deny that Adam has talent...I'm sure he will be a hit with those who prefer his music style.

Just a quick, unrelated observation. All the years I have been coming to CDB, the AI thread has always been very strong with loads of comments and discussion...not so much this year....why is that????? Just wondering !!!! :meme

Shirljan, In 2003 durning Ruben and Clay huge AI2 season finale there were lots of people pulling for both to take the AI title but I believe if it came down to where Clay's supporters were more aggresive to the point of putting Clay over the top it really would not of been fair to those who had supported Ruben. And yes 8,000 anxiously awaited fans had taken over the RBC Center in Raleigh that night might of really put Clay Aiken in a panic because he was thinking "Oh boy .. I can't let the city down, I can't let those people back home see a huge upset I've got to win!" so as it turned out Clay didn't win the title as we had all hoped for but he "won" our hearts in the end and he has ever since that time. You know theres been lots of discussions on numerous boards after the fact Ruben Studdard won but truthfully it couldn't have gone to a nicer guy who mind you is trying to do whatever he can to keep his career going strong. I respect that in him and I know Clay is happy with the way it turned out for both of them!

In the more previous AI shows since 2003. the viewers really haven't seen or heard of what AI had to offer since Clay and Ruben in 2003 until Carrie Underwood in 2004 and Kris Allen the 2009 winner six years later.

I believe if people started to listen to the radio more often of "the way" the music is being catagorized I honestly think AI would of had better contestants in those last previous years before Kris Allen or Carrie Underwood or even Clay Aiken or Ruben Studdard had entered the "American Idol" scene...along with many others with their musical talents.

JMO ... you may believe to be different then me and its okay.

I'm not quite sure that I understand what you mean, Wendy.

"I believe if people started to listen to the radio more often of "the way" the music is being catagorized I honestly think AI would of had better contestants in those last previous years before Kris Allen or Carrie Underwood or even Clay Aiken or Ruben Studdard had entered the "American Idol" scene...along with many others with their musical talents."

Are you saying that the discussion on the boards, about AI, is down because the music from the show is not in sinc with what is being played on the radio? Or, are you saying the standard of talent is not at par with the music being heard on the radio today?

Maybe I'm missing your point completely but I would really be interested in understanding it if you can explain it a little bit more.Sorry, sometimes I can be a bit dense, not puposely though. :wink
