I have claws Posts: 122 Group: Members Member #31 Joined: Nov 18, 2008	Just a little warning that my recap this week may not be all Happy Time....I can't stand Disco Week. It's fine for wedding receptions or actual karaoke bars, but not in a competition with a legitimate record deal prize. None of these guys are ever going to release a disco album, so why even bother?

The music is about dancing not singing therefore not really relevant to the competition. I am looking forward to seeing how they work it out...and what you think of it. I love your recaps every week. I have claws Posts: 122 Group: Members Member #31 Joined: Nov 18, 2008	NO INTRO CLIPS!!!! YAY!!!!!! Lil: The energy was good and fine...but that's about it. It was pretty easy to tell that she had a cold, but regardless, her vo....Lil, please, I'm trying to talk....her voice was all over the place, and she brought no origin....Lil, please let me finish...originality to the performance. No, you didn't, Lil. I agree with Simon...very copycat. Lil...Lil...Lil...that's enough...Lil... Kris: LOVE this arrangement!! LOVE IT! He takes a song about a woman (read: hooker), and turns it into a folky toe-tapper that had me singing along. Kris has really come a long way since his somewhat boring semifinal performance. He's definitely artistic and memorable, and I'd really like to see him in the top 3. Danny: He picks better than he has in the last month....I enjoyed that performance. I had thought he was a tiiiiny bit sharp at the beginning, and I wished he'd been the one to sing the "Ba-de-ya", but overall I liked it. Allison: I liked this arrangement...very tough chick rocker, and the tempo change made it a little different. And the voice.....KIL-LER. Keep her around, please...she's kinda good. Adam: What can I say? original, memorable, killer vocals....it almost makes me want to declare him the winner right then and there. Matt: Ohhhh...cliche', cliche', cliche'. At least he tried to inject his own flavor into it. But it still just came off as Justin Timberlake doing a cover. Not much else to say, really. Anoop: I didn't like this song, but I like what he did with it. And hey....Anoop has scruff tonight! Although I doubt making yourself extra hairy counts as an Idol makeover. Anoop sang well for 99% of the song, up until he botched the last note. Overall, it was pretty good, but not necessarily Pimp Spot-worthy. Overall....that was not the trainwreck I was predicting....most of the contestants did considerably well, with the exception of 2. This group, along with Clay in Season 2, made Disco music listenable for one night. That being said, I still never want them to....LIL, STOP! Let me talk! I still never want them...LIL! ZIP IT!
