Clay Aiken News now has a 'Twitter' ID. Whenever I update the site, I will post it (tweet) on the Clay Aiken News twitter. Go here to join, and then you can click on "Follow" on the Clay Aiken News widget in the right column under 'Articles, Links and Blogs'. That way, anytime you login to Twitter, you will see any updates from the Clay Aiken News/Ideal Idol site. You can also "follow" your friends and family who have a Twitter account. It just allows you to post a line or two about what you are doing or what is going on with you at that time. You can choose who you follow or whom you allow to "follow" you. |

Greek to me...I don't get it...I tried to join and cannot figure out what info they want...is this all new info Sign in Name and PW different from all other used? I am dense I guess...Is there a way we can get the Clay News you will be posting besides going to twitter? |

I just post on Twitter every time I update the site. You can still just go to Ideal Idol and get the latest news anytime.  Joining Twitter is just another option.. but it isn't neccesarily for everyone. For example, I have one friend who put the Twitter widget (like the one that is on Ideal Idol /Clay Aiken News) on her Outlook program so anytime she goes to her email she can see the updates. |

Thank you Jan for the input..I am getting so many emails saying different individuals are Following me on Twitter now..I have no clue who they are or what to do. Read some of the posts and I am lost...sheeesh! lol Modern techo is running rampid...lol Guess in time I will learn...UGH!...OMG is Our boyfriend Handsome and looking so happy. Cannot wait for the album.. |

...not really sure if'n I wanna do the Twitter thing...  I got all gung-ho on MySpace a few years ago; then folks stopped using that, 'nd I got hung out to dry.  My niece and sister got me to do a facebook page - and that's so darn confusing...  this Twitter thing is sounding like I'd need to take a class to use it!!  *what to do; what to do* |

Twitter is actually very easy. You don't have to set up all kinds of things, you can just use it to tell people in 140 letters or less what you are doing. You can invite people to "follow you" (which means they can read your comments or updates) or you can make your page as public or private as you wish. I use it to post updates to Ideal Idol /Clay Aiken News. Therein lies the reason for the name of my Twitter page: Clay Aiken News.

I really don't get "twitter". I do understand you sending out updates ,etc., Jan. ....but why on earth would a person want to post what they are doing every minute of the day. It's like moving back in with your parents, to me.Why do people need or want to know what you are doing? I think it would drive me nutty having people constantly contacting me and following me around.......ewwwwwww!!!!,,,,gives me the creeps. I work in a very busy medical practice and am constantly with people 8 hours a day....when I get off I need space to relax and quiet. There aren't enough hours in the day now for me to get everything done, let alone checking in on twitter regularly. |

I know what you mean, Shirl! When I first learned about Twitter I started a personal Twitter, but I have not used it. It makes sense to post updates about Clay and get positive comments out there, but I think some people just use it for their families and to keep up with good friends. LOL  about it being like moving back in with one's parents!

At least I made you laugh.  So I guess that's another thing 'twitter"is good for...a laugh.I can also see it being used to keep in touch with family and friends...especially if you have moved out of your home area......but if you live where these people are , then I say "get together for coffee." What can I say, think I'm getting old.

This is the same reason that I like to text message with my daughters. When we get together we can never stay on topic.... we get off on tangents and we are all equally guilty of that. We have a great time when we are all together, but for sharing specific information and asking and answering questions... texting works best for us.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, the "Tweeterwall" site is not affiliated with Twitter at all. It seems to be using that time of name to capitalize on hits from people who assume it is part of Twitter. You do not have to have a Twitter account to vote in this poll, however it is almost over, anyway. It appears that Clay is going to snag second place again. The good news? He is still very, very popular.
