Administrator Posts: 1,436 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Nov 4, 2008	We missed almost the first 2 hours!! When have the Oscars ever been shown live on the west coast? They started at 5:30 PM here- and we were aiming at 8:00 PM so I was quite annoyed when I found we had missed so much. I think it is great that they were shown live for once, but I don't understand why they weren't promoted more clearly as being live on the west coast this time -when they are usually only shown taped at 8:00. I watched the opening with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway on YouTube and it was great! Hugh is soooo talented not to mention sexaaaay! Did you see the mini lapdance he did for Barbara Walters at the end of her special? Whoa. I can't wait to see Slumdog Millionaire and Benjamin Button. I can probably pass on The Wrestler, although I do understand what a great performance was given by Micky Roarke. I haven't seen any of those nominated. After seeing all the acclaim given to Wall-E I would like to see it also.

Posts: 434 Group: Members Member #37 Joined: Nov 18, 2008	Jan, thanks.. I too want to watch "Slumdog Millionaire"..I bought the "Changeling" today and have the "Dutchess". Hope to watch it soon. Last night we watched "Vicky Christina Barcelona"..no spoilers.
