Has anyone else watched Superstars Of Dance with Host Michael Flately. ( Michael )Hubby & I sure enjoyed it. Though some of the contestants aren't really doing any dancing. It is interesting to see some of the dances from diff. countries. Will be on again Monday night. |

Tippy, I have watched it and agree that some are not doing "dancing". It's interesting to see what other countrues are doing. My thought's though are how can these groups/duos/singles be judged by different countries that have no experience in the other types of dance/entertainment? Example the ballet dancer from Russia got lower than the male contempory dancer, no way is that even remotely posssible, MHO Edited by LikenClay2, Jan 11 2009, 07:33 PM.

At least this show will have a short run, semi finials are next week. Very hard to keep track of their scoring in each of the three categories because they continually go back and forth in no order that makes sense from groups, duo's and solo dances. Last evening ballet soloist was judged very high while contemory dancer who was number one last week was voted off. Much of the show makes no sense. Can anyone compare apples to oranges? |

Liken, it is hard to judge them. I wouldn't want to have to give out points. I didn't care for the from USA group this week as much as I did last week. Liked the Tango the couple from Argentina did. Was blown away by the couple from South Africa. They were so graceful, some of those lifts. My gosh that guy is strong. Was rather shocked they didn't get higher scores. Guess the judges thought they didn't do enough dancing .I'm trying to keep an open mind but so far I am rather disappointed in the show. Will see what this coming week brings. |

Now, they are the ones who should have been on the show in place of the ones that were. I probably would have enjoyed it more.
