I prefer mental because it requires a mediocrum of skill to use, and the fights are a faster paced, counter-strategy style. With physical, all you really do is go autoattack and wait. If you kill them, woot. If you are in trouble, you run. Plus, while mental can be killed by one person in some suits, it can be very difficult to kill a phys para, even in the first evolution, (hydralisk) without a teammate, and if you manage to weaken them enough they can run away faster than you. In my opinion, physical is easymode, and less fun to play. In all the times i've played para, I've only seen one or two fully-evolved mental paras that weren't me, while ive seen half a dozen of behemoths alone. |

yeah, behemoths are fun to play, if u let the parasite get to t4, then its ur own fault for letting them get that high |

Physi is fun acturaly, Probaly the best game I ever had was were me and the AI traped the para in the upgrade room with baracaides, using a steam suit, I held the para off and kelled him. And yes, steam is teh epicest against physi, miss chance and a AOE antiattack/slow. |

Tier 1 phys can kill a steam user in a straight fight i think. Plus, doesn't thermal block it? And seph: my point is phys players have it much easier. Where a mental para can be killed by a single human without the use of bombs unless they use their head, phys can pretty much attack without worrying about anything other than when to run or pursue. Finnaly, good luck killing a brute very often. They can survive direct bomb hits, and are tough as anything. They can easily be escaped from, and yet everyone else seems to get owned by them into spawns. Usually against a brute, by the time he starts evolving he already has almost all the humans converted, and the only feasible way to kill a fully evolved phys para is with a station/planet self destruct or destroying the ship hes in, or somehow bombing him twice in rapid succession. On the flipside, even a fully evolved mental para can be 1-shot with a bomb. I just prefer mind because its a game of wits, reflexes, and strategy, whereas against physical the para has MUCH more room for error. |

Dood, if your using steam take a asborbah. And steam could probaly kell a t1, you do much extra damage, they have 40% miss chance, also, you can put a cloud around you if things are looking bad. |

precisely. and yet you can kill an atro or emulator solo with 2 specialised items, and still have room for extra suits, bombs, adrenal, heals, etc. Wheras soloing a phys para takes mana rechargers, beer, luna red, autodoc, etc |
