Sif, lack of sentries is one of the only pros about the planet.

Well, the way i see it, sentries are used for a few things:
Annoying ass captains going on a tking spree without wanting to get their hands dirty.
Killing para suspects with minimal evidence, effectively doing the same thing as above.
Actually targeting the parasite.
And finnaly, shooting brown.

Out of these, both one and two i disagree with.
Number three and four are both fine, but having turrets on the planet wont make a difference when targeting brown.
It offers releif for the cerb or unfortunate people being targeted, and actually makes the lazy ass humans go down and do some fighting.
Wheres the con?

Thats all fine, but what's it got to do with a con of having no turrets on planet?
Turrets are an annoyance that either waste shields, waste healing, lower health, or take ages to kill.
Also they can turn the tide of a battle.
But apart from going to planet, the only option really is to hit the power :\
Having a (mostly) turret-free planet doesn't make a huge difference, but it makes new strategies that wouldn't be there with turrets.

Firstly: you can do that anywhere.
Secondly: without turrets, there are other reasons for planets.
Thirdly: if its the para chasing you, he will just look at the minimap pings.
Fourthly: you still haven't pointed out a con of having no turrets on planet that outwheighs the pros ={

Why aren't they in DoW2?

The mini-map pings go off momentarily though, frankly sentries on the planet would be wiped out by Odesa, screwing that theory immediately. Then again they don't attack vendors do they?

Mini-map pings can be screwed lol, that time where the ping happens you can turn invis and then turn around :P
