cough darv was the one who founded the website, he is responsible and does not exploit his powers cough. Not all shammies are mods, and not all mods are shammies. Its the clan entity concept: for the purposes of assigning duties and powers, the members of a clan forum are treated as seperate entities from those of the clan itself. I.e, you may not be an active part of the clan, but you would still be able to keep in touch via forums, and those who don't frequent the forums aren't kicked from the clan due to innactivity if they are still playing the game. ...Plus, the mod shade of green really fits with the green necron lights in his siggy.

OMG look at wat i find its on infestation website but looki - There are 12 playable user slots. - Player Brown is changed to black in game. - The game takes place on a blue, desolate world similar to XGRM in Parasite 2. - There are 6 sections to the map: a base, an outdoors, an underground cavern, a top floor, a sub floor, and space. - There is an A.I. but it is now called Android. - The main alien is still called cerebrate, and its spawns are still spawns. - Combat Suits from the originals have been separated into weapons and armor suits that you can combo. - Equipping armor suits will make them disappear from your inventory until you equip another armor suit, this way your inventory space isn't used up so quick. - Weapons require ammunition to attack with. - Armor suits require mana to use their abilities given to you. - There is a proximity chat. - You may use "walkie talkie" items, however they have a limited use before you must recharge them, and in order for them to work you need to activate at least two special generators called Relay Generators. - There is an intercom in the control room that has free use until it is destroyed. - The DNA Analyzer is invulnerable this time, however in order for it to work it needs 3 special generators activated, these of coarse can be shut off again at any time. - There is a power system that is in the form of 3 separated generators. Each time a power generator is shut off something in the base stops working. The first one, sentry guns and lights go off, the second one all base functions such as scanning, using intercom, viewing security cams, etc. stops working, and after the last generator shuts off the oxygen filters stop working. - Humans start out with 60 oxygen (gold). When oxygen reaches zero a human rapidly loses health until it dies. - Aliens also lose oxygen, but nothing happens when their oxygen amount reaches zero, this way the abusive "oxygen test" cannot be used against them. - When 3 power generators are off, it takes a good 2 minutes for the base's oxygen levels to fall enough to where you start to lose oxygen. - Poisonous gas deposits found through out the map will make you lose oxygen rapidly. - There is an item that increases your maximum oxygen amount by a good amount and makes you immune to the effects of poisonous gas. - The outdoors and underground cavern areas will deplete your oxygen. - The Android works like a normal human does, even looks similar to 'em. It can use weapons and items like a human can (except for armor suits, it has its own built-in one), the only difference is its mechanical, has more HP, does more melee damage, is immune to infection, and is the only one who can use special items called "utilities". - Equipping a utility gives the Android an extra ability. Equipping another utility of the same kind will level up the ability it gives. The Android can only hold up to three utilities. - There is an alien chat feature that can be used any kind of alien. - All aliens receive pings of all other players every so often. - The alien cerebrate is able to switch forms at any given time, rather then just evolving from one form to another. - The alien cerebrate is able to build up parasite colonies for spawning parasites through out the map and providing special benefits to all aliens. - The parasite minions are computer controlled. - The alien cerebrate has a host of abilities for managing and commanding its parasite minions. - There are different kinds of parasite minions, the standard ones are only for burrowing themselves inside humans to infect them. The more parasites that burrow inside a human, the stronger the infection effect becomes. - The only way to cure infection is the medical armor suit's cleanse ability. - Spawns only have two forms through out the entire game... their human form, and their alien form... they do not change unlike the cerebrate. There are several different types of spawns with different abilities, these abilities stay with it through the entire game. - The cerebrate can absorb parasites to gain "para points". It uses para points for building up parasite colonies among other things. - When a cerebrate acquires enough para points it will automatically evolve, this will improve all of its current forms. It can also de-evolve if it spends too much of its para points. - Both the cerebrate and its spawns use exclusive alien items while transformed rather then the standard human items. Alien items have unlimited charges, but they have an extended cooldown and cost para points to use. - Spawns use para points too, but can not gain more then their maximum amount. When they use up some para points, they slowly gain more until they have their maximum amount. It is generally a low number. - The cerebrate will be able to absorb spawns. Doing so gives the cerebrate an added amount to its para points. The cerebrate will acquire the traits of the spawn it absorbed. - An absorbed spawn can only communicate with the cerebrate or other absorbed spawns through standard messaging, but can also use alien chat to communicate with other spawns who haven't been absorbed yet. An absorbed spawn will pick up messages that the cerebrate hears. - Absorbed spawns are able to assist the cerebrate in combat by using abilities that emerge from the cerebrate's body. These abilities depend on what kind of spawn it is. - Absorbed spawns can use "ultimate abilities" that require another absorbed spawn or more and the cerebrate to synchronize and use up all of their energy (yes all absorbed spawns and the cerebrate require their maximum amount of energy) to unleash a devastating attack. - The cerebrate can spit absorbed spawns out of its body, losing the amount of para points it gained from absorbing that particular spawn. - The cerebrate can also revive dead spawns at the cost of para points!! - There will be switch activated traps, including rising flame grates, spinning death saws, and poisonous gas chambers. - There is currently only one kind of bomb item in the game. - There is plans to add another kind of special bomb item that is able to level the entire planet. It will have an extended detonation timer and can be carried around. One interesting scenario would be for someone to deliver the activated bomb to space and sacrifice their life to save everyone elses. - There is a captain player class that has a captain I.D. card item for locking/unlocking doors, releasing prisoners, setting targets for sentry guns, etc. - The anti-tk system has been changed. When a human tks, the majority vote to jail the team killer is a third of how many players are in the game. So if there is 12 players, only 4 votes are required, and if there is 6 only 2 votes are required. - A human who is being attacked has the right to defend itself, it can kill its attacker without being dubbed a tker. If the attacker stops attacking after 30 seconds, the right to defend is lifted and you will be the tker if you kill him or her. - There will also be a policy that allows humans to kill other humans who have a certain level of infecion without being dubbed a tker. - Tkers are sent to a jail room that can be visited by other players. - There may be features that let you torture jailed team killers for fun - There are currently no plans for any sort of hidden items. - Aliens in their human form who kill humans can be dubbed tkers and sent to jail. - When the cerebrate dies it loses all of its para points and becomes a small parasite unit called the "cerebrasite". An amount of parasites equal to 2/s of the para points it had before death is spawned near its corpse. - The cerebrasite is able to build its body back up by absorbing parasites. - When players die they are not kicked from the game. Instead, they can view chat messages of other players but cannot view the game nor chat themselves. - At the end of the game, there is a 20 second period where all players, including dead ones can talk to each before the game automatically ends. |
