With the Wayback Machine you can travel back in time through the internet from 1996 to 6 months ago from almost any site! Check out what i pulled out from some old blizzard archives: Warcraft III The Frozen Throne Beta Ladder icons You can see that at that time, the 1500 human icon was kael. The shadow hunter looks different, the 1500 orc icon is referred to as Beast Master(instead of Rexxar), Warden AND Maiev are selectable icons, the Destroyer is called Black Sphynx and looks different, and the Dragon Turtle is called the Hydra. Warcraft II Platinum I assume this is what they called War2BNE when they first announced it. June 12 1997 StarCraft Battle.net Forums Interesting reads in here! Not my site though ![]() That's awesome stuff. I often use the Wayback Machine to see how companies have changed over the years. Edited by ROTS19, Jun 2 2008, 04:41 PM.

If you have the Alexa Sparky addon to Firefox, then the wayback machine will get to your site. |

The problem is my website is really a sub domain. I purchased the domain http://www.dvreground.com/ a couple days ago, and I'm converting the site to that soon, so finally I'll be eligible for the Wayback Machine. I'll be sure to let you know when you need to update your Project Revolution link. |

No, PC. While I have that domain directed to my website, until July 16, the website is http://dvre.pcriot.com/ which is a subdomain, and the Internet Archive won't cache subdomains. So it will be a while before I'm on the Wayback Machine. |

No, StarCraft Ghost was at www.blizzard.com/ghost/ If it were a subdomain it would look like ghost.blizzard.com/ Some people intentionally make a subdomain accessible from the main domain (www.example.com/ex/ = ex.example.com/) for various reasons, such as caching and being archived. Since I have no control over www.pcriot.com/ I can't do that though. |
