How much more of the air jordan 5 can we expect to see on retail shelves in 2017? The above photo from an Instagram sneaker leaker suggests that plenty more are on the way.The photo quality is pretty bad even by leaker standards, but the image is still worth looking at to peer into the near future of this shoe. Included are the blue suede Air Jordan 5 that's been mentioned in previous leaks and a couple less colorful pairs. There is no confirmed Jordan release date information available for these yet.The tonal blue Air Jordan 5 will be accompanied this year by a similar sneaker in red reminiscent of the "Raging Bull" DMP pack pair. “They can’t win until we quit.” That’s as Jordan-esque a quote that we can find even if the man didn’t actually utter those words, and it’s now featured prominently on the inner tongue tags of the coming air jordan 13 DMP release, slated to celebrate Michael Jordan’s last championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1998 through a premium white and metallic gold retro offering this coming June.Today we get the best look yet at the coveted Jordan 13 Defining Moments Pack featuring a smooth white leather base with luxurious accents of metallic gold patent leather encompassing the mudguard and ankle collar for a unique twist on one of the models that helped Mike lead his team to their 6th title in 8 years. This special edition Air Jordan 13 DMP also features the year ’98 on the panther-inspired hologram branding instead of the usual 23 callout. This is as close to a Michigan Jordan retro PE that we’ll get a chance to grab at retail, as this Jordan 12 Low featuring the Wolverine’s signature colors of Navy and Varsity Maize lands on the heel tab for a unique twist and will be available March 18th for $170 USD.The Wolverines are one of the more recent teams to benefit from an updated Jumpman sponsorship. Their football squad was the first to ever debut the Jordan logo outside of the realm of basketball and was rewarded with some truly incredible Michigan Wolverines Air Jordan PEs featuring essentials like the Air Jordan 11 and air jordan 12. We won’t call this Air Jordan 12 Low release “Michigan” given the monochromatic grey suede hits throughout for a lifestyle twist, but it’s nice to see Jordan Brand mixing in some of its team elements for general releases. |
