If our list is missing a power you really want, you're more than welcome to apply for it. You can also apply for aesthetically similar variations of our global techniques, provided they are appropriate to your main power. There are some rules you should take into consideration, however. 1. The following powers will be denied on sight.
2. Your power must be deemed appropriate for your main power(s) 3. A staff member may deny any power at any time, should they feel it is necessary. 4. All approved powers can be added to the global list once approved. There are two types of power applications: Global Powers and Signature Powers. Global Powers 1. Are added to the global power list. They are not exclusively yours to use. 2. You can submit up to 5 global powers per month, and can do so in a single application thread. 3. Global power submissions will not undergo a very detailed review process. A staff member will review your application and determine whether or not the power is acceptable in some form. They will then add it in wording they feel is clearest and more concise to the global power list, or they will deny it. As long as it is clear what your submitted powers do, there should be few critiques related to your submission. 4. As we will reword your submission anyway, please be sure that your submissions are as clear and concise in their descriptions as possible. Signature Powers 1. Signature Powers are abilities your RPC has personally developed. These can only be used by your RPC and others with the same power set you RP teaching it to IC. 2. You may only submit one signature power per month per RPC. 3. An RPC can only know one signature power of a given rank. You may choose not to take a signature power of a high rank if you prefer to use it for a lower ranked power, however (Note this is an even exchange- if you give up your chance for an S ranked signature power for a D ranked one, you still only get one D ranked one) All that being said, applying for the power is easy. Just make a new thread using the template below for each level of the power. Your thread should be titled (Character Class) Power Name [Character Name] 4. Signature Powers are not as easily replaced as global powers. You will need the permission of 2 staff members to switch out a signature power, and you will be asked to explain why. You must do this before submitting a power to replace the prior signature power. 5. Submissions should be clear and concise. While we encourage creativity in submissions, all submissions should be inherently obvious as to what they actually do, and not be so long as to discourage others from fully reading and comprehending them. Sadly, the length of a description is a flexible and subjective standard, so all we can say to this end is "If the staff says your description is too long, please shorten it". Applications for powers should be submitted as new threads in the Power Creation Board. They should be titled either "Global Power Submissions [User Name]" Or "[Signature Power] Power Name (RPC Name)", depending on whether they are global or signature powers.
